Its 132k driven already...Got it checked by local mechanics but none of them seem to diagnose the problem..some say its intake noise while others say its deep-rooted in the engine... spark plugs and oil changed recently...does the car require tappet adjustment or valve replacement as i highly doubt that is where the problem lies.. Any suggestions??

No need.Get the valve lashes check. Timing chain can also cause rattling noise.
1nz and 2nz recommends 5w-30w or max 10w-30w , and may be its injectors noise ,they are ticking or may be Hassan bro said about timing chain

That's transmission side. Check for anything loose first. Then go for engine inside inspection. Like valve lashes etc.
