My name is Saad - I am a 23 year old law student from Karachi. I have been exploring PakWheels for about a month now (as I was in the process of choosing a new set of wheels for myself) and found it an extremely entertaining and informative way to bring together all car enthusiasts in the country - kudos to the team for this endeavour!
Personal introductions aside, at the moment, I am driving a Toyota Corolla 2010 Gli M/T. While it has served me well over the past few years, an upgrade was necessary as I had used the car quite 'roughly' (in more ways than one lol) and the fact that my friends and girlfriend were starting to get repulsed by the condition it was in.
Thus began a journey from which I was presented with two options - either book the 2015 Honda City Aspire Prosmatec 1.5L or the 2015 Toyota Corolla Gli 1.3L A/T (automatic was a must for me this time round as I had had enough with Karachi's traffic).
I must say that these forums helped me a lot in coming to my decision and am indebted to the valuable input and advice of all the PakWheelers active in the forums - believe me, I have been through literally every post in every thread relating to the 2015 Aspire and 11th Gen Corolla.
After careful deliberation and extensive research (which included everything from colour to interior to ride suspension and for which again, I am extremely grateful to these forums), I had reached the conclusion that the best car for me would be the 2015 Toyota Corolla Gli 1.3L A/T. I finalised my option by booking the car through financing at Al-Habib Bank in mid-April - the colour which I went for is Medium-Silver.
The tentative arrival date of my car is around July-August but will hopefully be earlier as my Dad has been in contact with a valuable source who might bump up the delivery of my new ride.
So to sum up my extremely wordy first post, I would like to say salam to all members of this forum and hope to engage with you all frequently in relation to my ride, your rides and much more!
