I use a web based software called Fleetio for my car maintenance. It says my fuel average is ₨ 4.65 Cost/Km on petrol. I don't know if this is good or bad. I used CNG once or twice, but haven't really calculated. Mostly use petrol. Hope this helps.

Also, please tell me any other formula to calculate fuel efficiency and whether mine is ok or not.

So assuming 500 fill, its around 100 km with average 21km per litre.

Same as mehran on CNG if not more

In primary school we used to do like this

For Rupees 4.65 =1 km travel
For Rupees 1 =1/4.65 km travel
For Rupees 500 = 500 * 1/4.65 km travel
= 107 km

at price 100Rs. per liter,
For 5 liter =107 Km
For 1 liter = 107/5 km
= 21.4 km

Dear Fada and Ricky

Its not so ideal

My charade is giving 65 km on Rs. 500 (filled on empty)
On a 500 rs fill @107 rs per litre , i am getting 4.67 litres total to run on ...Getting an average of 14 ( 65 km / 4.67)MASHALLAH.

Now back to Fada's calculation on Liana and Mehran

My 2010 (10000km run mehran) gives an amazing 17km/litre (320km /18 litre) rs 2000 ...which is almost full tank..MASHALLAH. i drive it on petrol only however once tested the factory fitted cng and it gave mind boggling 145km/350 rs full tank. So mehran is the all time king in feul economy (not a bad drive considering the crowded karachi roads) do note that i dont go over 60-70 and keep a light foot.

21km per ltr of mehran is out of the question, where as your liana is going around 10ish.

If the liana can give around 15 on petrol on light foot... that would make a great replacement for my charade.. heck with the cng ....wont need it at all... and if the same can be achieved on the 1.6 eminent auto. then wa wa woom...

the jvc pre started missing so i gave it for repair.. the man repaired it and when he installed it and i switched on the engine , it just blew..
so got this pioneer ( used ) form a shop in dha H blk for 4000.. it had a cd and md player and only used to play fm89 (japanese-same prob wid vitz) .. speakers were stock jvc ,,, they were quite nice actually

not to my knowlege tht any efu ecu based cars cant be washed! honda guys say its safe to wash honda cars engine bay with water .. always do them when doing car service , but never liana .. liana's engine was always cleaned by spraying petrol and drying them out as soon
