I bought Sony 40HX750 in June from Sony World Cavalry Ground Lahore. It is top of the line model with 3d, dlna, smart features etc. I wanted to go for Samsung series 8 which was not available in 40".

My TV stopped working within 2-weeks. Warranty claim took almost a month as full panel had to be replaced that was imported from Dubai according to service centre.

I would suggest whichever LED you buy, always get one under warranty.

Bro, BX400 is a pretty old model from 2010. EX430 was launched end of last year so i'm leaning towards that.

Bro if you are looking for Budget 40" LED TV (with no smart features), get the Sony 40EX430 from official Sony Outlet, Its available here for Rs.64k.. I surveyed the market for about a week, thoroughly checked Samsung Eh5000 LED, Samsung 43" plasma and Sony LED, and felt the picture quality on the Sony EX430 quite superior, its having more realistic colors as compared to its counterpart, the features are same, also to note down, Samsung does Panel Lottery.
But yeah Samsung makes one of the best 3D Smart TVs!

Thanks for the recommendation, that looks like a good deal. Plus after reading about Samsung using different panels inside their TV's i'm starting to lean towards the Sony. Will go check out both screens in person tomorrow & make up my mind.

How Did It Happen? I Am Also Having The Same TV IN 46" But I Never Had Such Problems, Can U Share With Us What Happened?

It stopped working one day without any apparent reason whenever we tried to recover from sleep mode, a red LED flashed five times and became steady with no display. Troubleshooting through user manual revealed to contact service center and they confirmed after a few days that panel had to be replaced.
