Santro 2003 bonnet paint in really bad condition - help & suggestions required

Please see the attached pictures of the bonnet of my Santro 2003 club, the paint of its bonnet has got into real bad conditions due to direct sun, swirl marks, paint getting deteriorated... anyways whatever may be the reasons.. now i need to do its shower/repaint (what is the difference between the two)... The original color is Silver, Metallic...

Please suggest a solution and painter in karachi who could do a immaculate job, the finish color has to match with the rest of the body, i dont have any previous experience of painting... please suggest how do i go about this job... Any help will be really appreciable... The bonnet paint would be accompanied by bumper repaint... how much will it cost? what are the steps for it?

Get whole Car respray....Doing Only Hood Will Make It Look Different From rest Of Car....Sure If This Gets FADE....Whole Car Paint Also gets Fade Along With It

2.If You Don't Want To Spray Whole Car.....You Can Paint The Hood Black...It Will Look Ok Or Can Use Vinyl Sheet On Hood To Make It Look Nice And Clean

You Can Get That Matched with Painters But Trust Me.....It will Peel Off And Get Dull Again If You Only Go For Re-Spray.....!

A whole Car Proper Shower After Sanding Is Only A Long Lasting Solution

just get the hood sprayed..and ask the painter to use the same colour as mentioned on car's chasis plate...and after paint is done get your car detailed then it will get matched to rest of the body...
getting the whole car re-painted will lose the car's value

As u r from Karachi go Apollo motor which used to be a showroom of Hyundai they are pretty reasonable and have good skill worker they won't charge more than 5k

had same issue with mehran bonet in silver color
had put viynl on it
but get it done by 3S dearshio of toyota suzuki or honda or huyndai
suzuki takes 3000/ piece
dont know rate about honda and others

Full body paint is what even i can suggest at the age of your car but i would cost around 35000

just shower on bonnet? with same color as mentioned in car... will it match properly?
what questions should i ask from the painter... is thr any type of paint, brand, method/procedure please guide me

I m not an expert but silver is one of the color which matching is real hard work especially mattalic.
I had silver car. Went into an accidebt. Replaced complete doors and the car was painted by a very well body shop here. It was fine initially but after few months I could see a different shade. It was not that evident but at certain light I could see it. The paint/ bodywork had a life time warranty and the body shop repainted my car when I made a complaint.

So make sure you get it done perfectly no matter you pay a little more..

Instead of painting, go for CF wrap.

have you done any polishing or painting work earlier if polishing is done many times then entire body re paint is advice able if only boneet paint is damaged and rest all are good then only bonnet... I suggested full paint imagining even other part of body will also be exposed to sun and be in the same condition... and once you get it repainted the newer one will never match the existing one its impossible, the mixing of painting cant be accurate even for a new car repaint job if it is done in service center also
