Santro 2004 ECU problem

Hi Guys - My Santro club 2004 is giving black smoke on petrol, I had it checked from the mechanic on OBD diagnostic kit and per him the ECU is not working, I want to buy the Kabli ECU from Rawalpindi or Islamabad. Can anybody recommend me any dealer and the approximate price is should be getting it for. Details are given below.

if ecu is not working how is the car working?
btw most probable cause can be a faulty sensor or the ecu has to be remapped

WTH really he said tha??? he must be out of his mind, just go to some other good mechanic and do proper tune up which includes throttle body cleaning, new plugs, new air filter, and clean all the sensors.

You are being ripped my friend. Black smoke means your car is running rich means taking more fuel than it should. These cars doont have oxygen sensors to tell them about it.

Most likely you have vacuum leak. It's common . Easy check buy carb cleaner and put your car at idle.

Spray it in idle control valve and intake manifold. If idle changes you have a leak. Get it sorted ans you are good to go

Problem in ECU then u should have check engine light on. Go to Sultan kho at arshad ustad he will diagnose issue and can repair ecu as well

first of all check the condition of the spark plugs and check their gaping! ur car could be giving black smoke maybe because the air filter is badly clogged up! even have the engine coolant temp sensor checked!

Black smoke doesn't have to do anything with ecu

or goto ur mechanic ask him to remove all the spark plugs and then turn on the ignition and gently halka sa self maro for a few seconds! this allows fresh air to enter and leans out the fuel mixture a bit!

Ive had the same issue with Santro having black smoke on petrol and fuel average of 8KM/L - On scanning the mechanic said there is P0130 (O2 Sensir Circuit) and P1146 ( Idle Co Potentiometer present open or short) Errors. he said the ECU is from some other car or other variant of Santro. Hence you need to change the ECU. As there is no O2 Sensor in any sensor in Pakistan ?? Anyone please help
