I have Santro Exec 2005, bought first hand. Currently has 93500 on oddo. It ran for approx 15k-20k on CNG then we removed the CNG.(CNG was installed after 30 35K and removed 15k -20k running). It never gave me significant problem. But since last 2 years it is constantly giving me headaches. Then 3 months ago there was a problem that car would suddenly stale down and then all of sudden take pick run smoothly for while and then again stals and loop continues. My mechanic says it is fuel pump problem so we changed it. Mechanic also did some tappit adjustments, as well as replaced gasket.
Now car randomly doesn't pick in second gear, but runs fine in 3rd and 4th gear. On fourth gear it wont go past 60 until heavy foot is applied on accelerator. I have shown this to many mechanic and all are saying different things. One says its accelerator sensor is bad, one says 2 valves are leak, one said fuel pump is bad (which got changed 3 months ago), One even said that accelerator sensor has crack in it and one said its coil is weak. Car is giving mileage of 8 -10/L, which I think is low by its standards.
One thing I noticed is on AC its pick almost dies. Car feels it is struggling. As soon as AC is turned off things improve. Also on AC car heats much rapidly. Temp needle occasionally goes above half but returns.
Can anyone guide me as to where is the problem could be?
