Santro heating and decreasing water

Santro decreasing water month ago i have changed its gaskit .. mechanic is saying is head bolts r not tight thats y it is decreasing water and makin pressure.

sympotoms are
it decrease water about litre after 50,60 KM and start heating up
Water dont move to reservior water

get your waterbody checked. probably the fins on it are gone due to rust.

Engine is doing "missing"..

than get the gasket checked...its faulty. or ask the mechanic to tighten the head.

I previously owned a santro, same problem. do what i did, sell it. Its a car that is unreliable and just causes headaches.

Most likely the waterbody. I had the same issue for about a year until a mechanic finally realised the problem.

Brother if water is not moving from the reservoir to radiator the radiator is clogged from dust or there is any blockage.

Have u checked for radiator and house pipes leaks ?

Agar gari ki gaskit kharaba hoti hai tu temperature high hota hai is it the case?

You call NERD as mechanic, when he did the work why the head was left lose. a tool called Torque wrench is needed to perform the job to specs & seasoned mechanics with some tech knowledge always change head bolts when it is removed from the engine upon over heat. Kick that nerd between legs twice

you need rework as follows:

a. replace head gaskit, replace head bolts, check water body & coolant intake pipe for rusting replace if corroded.
b. clean the radiator, change hose pipes, check the radiator cap replace if duff
c. replace thermostat in cooling system, make sure electric cooling fans are rigged to work automatic
d. prepare coolant in bottled water
e. top up reservoir tank with coolant to HIGH mark only
