Santro with Automatic Transmission? (2004 Exec GV)

AOA Friends, I have found a Santro for sale which is 2004 Model, Exec. Since now i havent even heard about Automatic Santro? Any one else have used an Automatic Santro Exec GV? Is it good or does it have any problems. Will I be able to get its possible transmission issue resolved in future? The seller Demand is 500K. i was thinking about offering like 475K. Secondly, the the car owner says Santro Exec rear seats are different than normal santro and they are comfortable like cuore. Is it true? Please advice

i guess regular Santros 2004, dont go for more then 400k, this one is an altered car should be less. I dont think a genuine auto variant ever rolled out (atleast Pakistani), check if the engine is orignal or changed.

I am also very surprised, let us see if any other member has ever encountered any automatic Santro Exec. GV.

there was never an automatic variant available in santro... only manual...

thanks bro, i think the owner must have got the transmission altered after buying it. no one answered my second question.
Does Santro Exec. has better rear seats than normal santro? Are they compareable to Cuore Rear seats?

don't know about normal santro... i have a 2004 exec... basically the seats of santro are raised due to less leg space... u cannot stretch ur legs in a santro... basically the seat frame in all santro's would be the same, i presume... the only difference maybe the cushioning, etc. don't have any idea about coure

yar i like santro, only only only due to its rear seats i am forced to stay away from it:(. otherwise Santro is a cool ride, especially Exec one. Any one have any solution?????
@Jinxedrider, yar how do you manager this rear seat problem?

i am the usually the lone driver *** passenger... got other cars as well so family uses them usually... but have travelled on it with family on 250km drives outside city .... not a big issue for such distance if 4 ppl are travelling in it...

Complete kits auto transmission kits are available in qable market and many Santro lovers buy them but they are quite expensive I suggest avoid auto trans Santro go for normal executive version you will have better milage.

HYUNDAI Santro never came in auto transmission as chinyoti said this might be an altered one so these altered cars has less resale. I myself had santro exec 2004 in silver it gave issues in cng but that might be with me only but one thing Id say that the driving pleasure and the comfort of the car is great.

-Oh btw as far as I remember the back seats of my exec santro were just normal seats havent really noticed cuore's seats ever.
