We are planning a trip to sawat in next week. Can any body inform me that is it safe now a days to visit there?
we are planning for Mengora, Baharain, Madayain, Kalaam.
Please need detail info.

Bro 110% safer then rest of Pakistan........everything is fine but if your going there by a car then u cannot reach till kalam...4x4 is must for kalam rest of the places can be visited by a normal car.
I went last year on Cultus till Kalam. Parked car there and hired Toyota Surf for Mahudand Lake.

can we go sawat from Lahore via own car(alto1000). How much time it will take to reach Saidu Sharif. Howz road beyond sawat. fit for alto?
yes sir you can travel by alto.....roads are fine and it will take approx 6 hours till saidu sharif.roads are in good shap. but beyond khawzakhela you will need a 4x4 vehicle if you intrested in madian,bahrain,kalam
now you will need to hire a 4x4 from madian...the situation is completely different now
