Screeching sound from tyres

Can anybody explain the reason of screeching sound from front wheels when brake is applied even at low speed.

The car is Cultus 02 with new General Tyres.

sir g the tyres jam ho jatay hain jab ap thora zor sy brake push kartay hain...so they screetch...if u want to finish this,put a wider tyre in on ur car..nd not generals...generals just love to screetch.....

actually the general tyres r of low quality n they r hard tyres according to japnese tyres n wid da pessege of time they become more hard so at even low speed they screech

u shud go for dunlp,bridgesstone,yokohama they r soft tyres they also decrese the othere sounds cuming frm ur cars y absorbing them n also gve a comfortable ride n not screech at low speed bt will screech very low on high speed

waisy yar i love generals...just 2 inch of wheel spin nd they shout like hell...cccccchhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeee.............

i remember the good old time when i used to do 180 slips on my khyber,which had general tyres:) the whole town turned heads to see wat has happened:)

nd now,wid better(not much,federal) tyres,i can do this stunt junkie stuff on the back of my dad nd he wont even know wat i did:p (but thats good too:P)

^sir g aisay kch karny ki zaroorat he nai,tyre khud kehta hy k haaan...haan mai low quality ka hoo..han mai hoon hain mai hon...

The generals i had on my cultus did not 'screech' on low speeds...they were horribly hard, uncomfortable besides their poor road grip led me to replace them..any ways getting back to topic, kindly check your tyre pressure and that your wheels are aligned correctly. Best of luck!

brother the main reason for screeching sound from the tyres even at low speeds is that your cars alignment is out, if the car is doing the same thing even at turning than it is confirm that alignment is out, owther wise it could be that brake balance is out, but if the brake balance is out, then the car will either go the left or right when applying brakes...

It has nothing to do with tyres, 50% of the cars in Pakistan uses general tyres..

i always used get repairs of my car either from Suzuki Motorways or Toyota Eastern..

Bhai shb general tyre screetc k liay bana hy, Pakistani funtrz want screetches on every minor brake,

I think Akbar and Aham have some sense in their posts and i will get the alignment checked as many cars using General without this problem.
And i have no idea about brake blance, wheel balance ka tu suna hai ya brake balance kia hoti hai ?
