3zzfe engines are famous fuel guzzler engine. cant get 8 to 9km/l in the city with auto gear. I get around 8.3 to 8.5km/l in the city and on highways around 14 to 15km/l MashALLAH with AC.This car doesnt come with O2 sensor or Cat con, so If there is any issue with the fuel average. go to any proper electrician person or mechanic. get your car scanned, looks for any relevant error codes. check spark plug, get NGK or Iridium plugs, clean throttle body, look for TPS and MAF sensor, check for fuel pressure or any fuel line leakage, injectors, fuel filter, if possible then get 10/40 fully synthetic oil (avoid fake oils). Looks for your car is running rich. smell it from the exhaust any petrol smell. adjustment of R and L thingy (IDK what its called, its behind air filter box) and the important thing, get fuel from any good fuel station.
While ago i was getting bad fuel average around 5km/l. I got scanned, look for any possible signs, but everything was ok, Only the problem was I started going to new fuel station and i guess it doesnt have the good fuel or didnt suits with me car. I go back to my previous fuel station and after 2,3 refuels the car got back to its normal average.
When travelling on highways or long routes If i need a refuel I add 6,7 litres of hi octane with a refill. So injectors getting some fine RONS for cleaning.
