Hi everyone , im expecting to receive my Altis in few days . please confirm what steps should i take for theft issues since corolla is like a hot cake for being theft also which insurance is good to have so i can get the insurance as well .

best is to get comprehensive insurance. this will safeguard you from theft/total loss/fine/natural calamities/accidents. do not go for any plan which covers theft/total loss only as spare part prices are too much for your vehicle in cases of any replacements are required. if you plan for Adamjee, let me know i will arrange at 2%,

Do they cover the dash and head unit theft which is common for Altis. Where rear qtr glass is broken to access in car and dash pannels, AC controls and head unit is taken away in less than 3 minutes.

How it is paid and how much is paid from insurance? Does this claim also need an FIR too? ( which is actually considered bad for vehicle documentation history)

@crema its comprehensive insurance and nut to nut of vehicle is covered whatever comes factory fitted. depreciation is always standard in insurance policy which is 5% for first 6 months and then 10% per annum maximum uptil 60% on part replacement only and not on labor/denting/paint jobs.

tracker is not mandatory in Adamjee. its optional. 2% is without tracker and i recommend all my clients to avoid it as firstly it voids warranty and secondly its just an added cost as after comprehensive insurance its not very much required. you can inquire further from me through WhatsApp/call 03312996638.

Altis comes with an immobilizer, these cars are hard to steal and are not hot cakes, 10th gen and below are more commonly stolen as they were never equipped with an immobilizer, are easy to break into and start. But I would still suggest getting insurance for accidents.
