Security Alarm System for Honda City 2018

Aoa. Although Honda City is provided with central locking which allows only locking and unlocking of doors and fuel lid but it misses following features which a aftermarket alarm system has:
Arming/Disarming
Silent Mode Option
Anti-hijacking
Trunk Release
Panic Siren
Wide signal range
Replaceable remotes
Flashing lights
Shock impact alarm
My Question is, is it possible to get installed an aftermarket security alarm system in Honda City? Would it void electrical warranty?

It would void the warranty. Relax, Honda City is low on priority of car thieves. I would suggest comprehensive insurance from a good company, a good steering crook lock, tint paper on the rear quarter glasses (makes it harder for thieves to break this window to open door locks).

A determined thief will steal your car no matter which alarm system you have. Your job is to make it hard for him to steal. My car doesn't have an alarm system and a car mechanic told me it's harder to get into a car without alarm as in alarm fitted cars they just open the bonnet and ground/short the system to automatically open the door locks

You are right that car will be stolen by a determined thief whatsoever security system you have in car. But Honda should have provided the trunk opening and sound while u lock unlock the car. Moreover the range of the remote is too short (almost 5 yards only)

Unfortunately, for profit or other reasons, very very few options are offered in any new car sold in Pakistan. No interior colour options, no sunroof, no LED lights option, no variety of alloys... Anyway you can always get the security system you want if you're willing to risk the warranty.

By the way if an aftermarket security alarm system is installed in the City, will it interfere with the present system in standard Key?

I'm sorry but I am not familiar with this aspect. My City has a simple key without any security or remote features. Perhaps the newer models offer remote options. You may check with the car accessories dealer, though.

It messed up the key system.in my corolla. Why wouldn't it in yout city?. The alarm systems available in market are universal chinese crap that start to break up with time. I had a "The Boss" system installed in my boss and after 1.5 years, the kit malfunctioned and now in order to enable power locking in my driver door, i need to get a new kit.
My corolla's trunk stopped opening with button, and alarm changed from car's horn to some other,.less louder, horn.

Similar thing happened with a relative's City. After 2~3 years the alarm malfunctioned and had to call a local car electrician to disable the alarm. Car was not starting due to alarm bring activated unnecessarily.

Also, if your car battery dies, your reciever will not recieve signals from your remote, thus, even if you somehow unlock it, immobilizer will still be on, so you can't dhaka start the car. Happened with me today.

You can get a system for 1000 rs but you'll face problems if even 1 wire is slightly disconnected. Some idiot mechanic forgot to connect the ground wire properly in one door in my friends car, and the system broke down. The powerlocking also stopped.

get rid of alarms/trackers etc and have your car comprehensively insured through a good company jo foran claim dede. Adamjee and EFU are best - 2.4% through Adamjee is possible.

My car is bank leased, insured and installed with a tracker.
