Seeking Advice for Optimal Performance Honda City 2005 IDSI

I recently bought a 2005 Honda City IDSI with a genuine engine in good condition. After the purchase, I drove it back home, covering over 220 kilometers in a single day. I didn't encounter any major issues, except for a slight hesitation at low speeds when the AC was on. I used around 4000 plus worth of petrol for this distance. Now, I'm seeking advice on the best steps to improve both fuel efficiency and overall performance. What maintenance work or adjustments should I discuss with a mechanic to achieve these goals?

One notable detail is that the previous owner installed new spark plugs just one month ago.

get it's full "tuning" done,

spark plugs,
fuel injectors,
catalyitc convertor,
air filter
fuel filter,
throttle body,
Radiator,

get all these serviced and cleaned.

first thing to check these older hondas is engine block
car assembly original or swapped
original is L12
more then 90% are now on L13/L15 patched up with L12 Ecu and wiring

Check if you got the water or coolant in radiator.
If coolant then ask the previous owner when it was flushed, if not known then get it flushed and pour a fresh one. Recommendations will be pasted on under the bonet.
Radiator fan is direct or auto, if direct then this well tell you lot about how it was maintained.
Do check thermostat status, if it's there and working.
Brake oil change as well if history not known.

Thing is ask all the questions from previous owner to know the history of maintenance and then act accordingly.
Not sure if 2005 got the CatalyticConverter though.

Anyways, congrats on the purchase, very good fuel economy and softer suspension compared to other city's.

Most of the mechanics are high on Kabuli oil, so they will refer you everything starting with Kabuli. So either check it thoroughly or get the new OEM parts.
