due to recent trends of load shedding. I started searching for a reliable generator with very less sound and fuel efficiency. Despite searching a lot in many stores and cities. I came to the conclusion that for a 10 Kva generator I have to spend at least 4 LAc for a Japanese and 2,50 lac for a Korean diesel generator. All of the generators in market are of single piston based and have a lot of noise. The Honda Petrol engine for 5 Kva was for 1-65 thousand and it has big noise issues as well.
Any how I dropped the plan and started integrating a self made generator. This is an old idea but i wanted it to be more professional and user friendly.
It should be long lasting , rugged and should give atleast enough power for an average house with 03 air cons and other equipment.
After talking to my mechanic we started sourcing the parts and now we are almost 80 % complete.

The general specs are
- Toyota 2SZ engine with EFI kit to tun on house Gas and Petrol
- Chinese brand new alternator with 99% copper and 10Kva peak output
- Autostart Panel with time Delay, Overheat Protection, Frequency Protection, Auto fuel switching etc.
- Two exhausts by Futaba (used) to be as quite as possible
- Engine will run on 2200 Rpm
- Carrier bearing and custom made adapter plate for flywheel fitting and load bearing.
- Big radiator Of corona diesel with 02 fans and shrouds.
- The dimensions are Length= 5ft and width 2.5 Ft
A lot of technicalities are involved but somehow we managed to cover them. The engine selected was due to its smooth operation, 1300cc and timing chain hence maintainable easily. Its a newer engine then typical 4E or a mehrans engine. We are running it with ECU and full wiring.
