thats a good share, like the stuff, can you enlighten me with the electronic governor system and the fuel system you are using, is it direct injection home gas or a kit or petrol.

I agree but we are not getting these issues at all, no flooding.I have seen some engines with 5 injectors and they do flood the engine in colder situations but this one has four injectors only, the cold start only Advances the ISV to achieve rpm a little over 1200-1300. once the water get hot in the throttle body it comes back to adjusted rpm.

yes using normal kit which is used with small generator.knwn as lahori kit...and abt governer u can contact my dad.if u want so i can give u his cell#

The 6BT is a very very torquey engine and can shove out stupid amounts of torque everyday all day, its just that it is defeaning even at idle speed.

only the 6BT setup belongs to me. It will be used to power up one of the departments at my factory.
I also have 100kVA CAT generator to power up other departments.

For this reason, it will b placed inside a sound-proof canopy.

Anyone work on the detroit diesels? - My guidance to all my mechanics while inspecting the "green leakers" were, Agar oil nahin leak kar rahai hai - to foran band karo aur oil daalo, oil khatam ho gaya hai.

working on Deutz engines is classy too, aircooled diesel POWAH - engine speed = 1400 rpm - output torque - forget about it, no need to measure you can tow a train with this engine.

None can be found here. People here mostly use engines out of Hino trucks. I opted for this engine because it was in pristine condition and the low end torque is just superb (as is with most truck engines). This engine came out of a war truck which never saw the light of the day n rusted in a shack. Also, it is capable of running on kerosene oil and low speed diesel.

I personally do not like japanese diesel engines - specially when you have something like a workhorse cummins right there.

You can find old GM detroit diesels in Pakistan - but are quite a buck.

I would like to share this setup at my uncle's house. There are two phases in the house, if one goes out, the other one kicks in after 5 seconds, if it doesn't kick in after ten seconds the engine starts up automatically.

1G-FE if I recall running on gas and producing 15KW
