Meet another mechanic who have timing light he is looking good in his work.

He told me to use mechanical fuel pump, according to him electronic pump is responsible for bad fuel average?

Any of you can verify this.

I think it could be possible because electronic fuel pump's doesn't have fuel return line's i guess.
Wait for experts as i haven't been into any situation like this so can't say any thing accurately.
Maybe @saboor73 can guide better.

Did you moved back to mechanical pump? What results you get?

my mechanic pump isnt working since engine rebuilt. changed pump but some other issue. might b with cam...so forced to use E pump

came up to a v strange issue. car is starting..but not idling niether on cng nor on petrol.not even taking race...it shuts down as soon as i leave ignition switch. battery is strong. fuel is sufficient. but couldnt get it.

Noice from engine room (not from engine) like kich kich kich kich when idle at low rpm, how do I know from where this noise is coming? Engine mounts seems good.

Could be belts or some bearing.

No its like some metal touching each other. This noise gone if i accelerate little bit or if I increase rpm in any mean.

It could be a PCV then. PCV gives a metallic knocking noise at certain RPM.

It can be any two metallic parts touching together or touching car's body. The vibrations die out when RPM increases and hence the noise goes away. You have to thoroughly check the engine bay and identify the exact area. My car was also producing the same type of noise yesterday. Upon inspection, I came to know its the condenser fan's frame touching the condenser.

Xulfiqar bhai although I am replying on very old post but I need some help from you my khyber 95 start shivering when lights or AC on at idle but smooth in running I recently overhauled complete engine please give some suggestion as many time I told my mechanic but he replied this happens in all old car

Your mechanic is...............
There is a system present in your car to control the idle speed of engine to compensate the electrical/A.C load.
Mechanic might have removed or changed the position of some vacuum pipes or haven't adjusted the screw for electrical load idle up that is also present on carb.

Need help, I am trying to install stock fuel pump which is mechanical type. But I am surprised to see there is no mechanical linkage between fuel pump pin and the place where it fixed in head. May be something is missing...

I was using electronic pump since I converted back to petrol.

There is a small steel pin (like a valve stem) which goes through the sleeve (marked in the attached image).It contacts cam shaft and on the other side it has contact with fuel pump paddle.

The pin is missing in your case, you can get it made from your local machinist (kharadiya).

@smijaz, good to see you here again. Thanks for your help, actually yesterday I figured out what is missing but when I went to auto parts shop he said its not available in new. Then I went to used auto parts market and after some efforts found genuine pin that came out from khyber's head.

Now I successfully back to stock fuel pump, Some mechanic said this will solve my bad fuel economy problem. Lets see what will happen

Pcv valve is ticking while car is idling i changed it with new one then also it is ticking at idle? What is this

It should open to intake blow coming from crank case. You can remove housing and put your finger on PCV valve, when accelerate you will feel suction at your finger tip. If its not open properly or hard to open replace it with good one.
