Has anyone installed lower than 82C thermostat valve here?

I am looking for 70-78C thermostat valve.

82C thermostat valve and 92C thermostat switch is working fine with no issues at all. Temperature stays at around 45% all the time, but just want to use slightly lower rating valve and thermostat switch for summers.

The problem with 45% needle is, in case of heat-up, temperature rises upto 60-70% and then we realise that car is heating up. In lower rating, needle will stay at 35% and we will get cautious if the needle reaches 50%.

Replaced rear suspension.

Gabriel shocks pair Rs. 2100/-
SNA CNG heavy duty springs pair Rs. 1400/-

SNA Cng Springs increase ride height on empty ride, but with loaded car they are alright and car never touches speed breakers. Their stiffness is reasonable (stiffer than original springs) but not that much hard as i was told, so car remains comfortable.

Gabriel shocks are very good, and comfortable. Their stiffness is reasonable, not very hard.

Oem thermostat is 82C anything less than this is not good. I have even seen 88C thermostat for this engine in scrap yards.

Now I successfully revert back to stock fuel pump before that my mechanic put electronic fuel pump when he rebuilt the engine.

My question is, do I need to re calibrate the float level in carburetor?

If the float level is at correct setting (7mm i guess) then i don't think so.

Is this temperature sensor good for khyber?

Mehran is written on it with marker, but seller said both have same. Its HKT, made in Japan as mentioned. Don't know the reality.

Mechanic said it will show higher than actual temperature on gauge.

Upon earthing the temperature sensor wire, it goes to H mark which means wire is fine.

How do i test the accuracy of sensor that it detects temperature till H mark?

I have multimeter to check, but do not know how to check.

The previous temperature sensor is working ok, but read on pakwheels that old and worn out sensor does not take needle more than 75% even in severe heatup..

Use only Khyber's original temperature sensor. Don't trust anybody who said that it will work with Khyber. Its better you should use previous genuine one until it stop working. Its the dirt arround sensor which make it inaccurate, just clean it throughly including contact pin and put it back.

I only know the factory reading i.e. 5-7mm never adjusted it myself.
My mechanic adjusted it using some kind of measuring instrument that looked alike vernier caliper.

They are brand new for Rs. 1300-1400/- pair. SNA heavy duty springs for CNG Khybers. Fitting charges are around Rs. 300/-.

I sold old pair of hard kabuli springs to my friend but he has not used them till now, but in case if you are interested in buying them, do let me know. You will be given return option if they do not serve your purpose or if your mechanic does not approve those.

Replace my old silencer only front piece (i.e: from engine head to gear lever), Bukhari brand. But it produces heavy sound like we have when silencer leaks. Mechanic says that it is because its new, after some time it will be ok.

Seals were also replaced.

Is this true?

Yes, the same happened when I replaced front muffler of my Khyber. It will get better with time when some carbon will accumulate in the muffler. I bought Steel Pak front muffler for Rs.2800/- and labour charges are included in it. For how much you bought Bukhari muffler? Does it have a heat shield? The genuine one has it.

It is just a hook to hank the muffler.
