Xulfiqar bhai car does missing if I pull the choke! so I rather keep accelerator little press...But yes I agree If I keep choke pulled it wont turn off!

why does it misfire, the choke plate should have a choke breaker on it too that pulls it slightly open when the engine starts.

No idea:( but can you suggest any solution to main issue, car not starting easily after it turns off?

no fuelling, low fuel level in float bowl. Or rich fuelling - high level in bowl, check - also check the choke plate.

btw cold running engines are not supposed to be shut off until they have warmed up.

ok,i changed the venturi of my khyber when i overhauled the carb..it had old venturi tht round one tht sits on the neck of carb,i put in mehran's venturi tht has two arms n goes into carb and is located in air filter assembly.. car responce is much better and so is the mileage..but now prob is the mechanic has put tape on the air inlet pipe..its almost 70-80% blocked now..he tried every thing to not put tape cuz i didnt want tap on it anyway..but the car wont strt with no matter how he set wwith this new venturi..previously i had bore in carb and it didnt need any air flow to be restricted.
the car runs fine on petrol with no missing and no problem of black smoke or anything!
the mileage with bore was around 130-140 per cng cylinder and now it has improved to around 150-160 with out ac in both cases..
all i wana know is if this blockage is decreasing the mileage on petrol? car runs fine on petrol and pick is good,i wana now if mileage is affected with air blockage?
2ndly is there anyway i can take the the air restriction off and set it some how on cng?/
i,for myself,have tried everything i know to set it without restriction but no avail!

The headlight switch of Suzuki Khyber is different from other cars. You have to press it inwards unlike the other cars in which you have twist type controls. And that headlight button of Suzuki Khyber becomes faulty after sometime. I have seen this switch not working properly in 2,3 Khybers.

My Khyber has the same problem. Both the headlight button and the tail light button are loose. The lower button come back to the off position the moment I lift my finger from it and the upper one come to off position when there is some jerk.

Two days ago I was driving from Pind Dadan Khan to Lilla Interchange (Motorway) at night, the road was a single bumpy one. There was a truck coming in front with high beams. I couldn't see there was a small mud speed breaker. When my car drove through that speed breaker, the headlights switched off due to the jerk. I couldn't see anything and before switching on the headlights, my car was on a pile of big stones. The stones were in the middle of the road because of some incomplete construction.
Thanks God everyone is safe. Car is also fine but the lower body is scratched a bit. The oil chamber has got severe dents and its gasket is leaking oil. The silencer is also broken.

Now my question is from where to get those headlight buttons replaced?
Searched some shops but couldn't find them.
All the Khyber owners having this headlight button problem should get them repaired or replaced because this can cause a fatal accident.

sad to hear about your accident, the switch comes as a whole means a complete set. But I doubt you can get that new. Better try old parts shops. Otherwise the switches could just be repaired if done properly!

i had very same problem with my khyber.i didnt change the button,i did a diy on it and they are perfect ever since,like 2 years or so.thing is there is a small pin inside that holds the button when pressed,and when pressed again,it release the button, but with time,it gets pushed side ways and becomes unable to hold it properly,so open up ur button, get some elfi, check tht pin and elfi it with straight up posture..ull be fine..i did it with both parking and head light beam button and its workin fine since then! i should have kept its pictures but i didnt,sorry! but u open up the button area and post pictures,ill show u which pin i was talkin about!

early morning, I first press accelerator once and then crank the engine and as soon as it begins to start I push little more accelerator and car starts.At this moment car needs just one self, now if I leave the accelerator car would turn off itself (I need to keep accelerator press to keep it running till its little warm)

Once it goes of, it wont start again and I have to crank it perhaps 5-6 times.

Car is regularly driven on petrol and CNG and turned on petrol every night throughout the year!

I have also noticed this. But it happens when the engine shuts off itself, i mean stalls... when it stalls, it requires double time for cranking. even if its warm. and with me it happens on cng.

in mehran and fx, similar problem occurs and it then starts only when the current is leaked,as said in mechanics jargon. they take out the spark plug wire at the distributor coming from the coil and bring it close to the engine/ distributor body and then try to start. the spark jump is seen. then putting back the wire in place and the engine starts in first sulf. whats its technical justification?

My differential bearing needs replacement. Plus i want to replace the large pin in the differential which carry the bevel gears(it gives noise at 40 - 50 kph speed). Or i can get a kabli differential...

In the workshop manual, there are different washers which are used to control the tolerances/clearances between the moving parts. The washers should be available in different thicknesses.
Are these available in the market?

But I had similar sort of issue with my car gear box, the estimated repair cost was gonna be around 5K including bearings, synchronizer, shifter fingers and a 5th gear.

So I went to Bilal Gunj and replaced the old gear box with a kabli. Cost was 6K including the old tranny adjustment of 2K (8-2=6).

It is doing well for a year now with me.

If you opt this dont forget to replace all the rubber seals and the sealant between the two halves of the box and also the fifth gear black tapaa.

There is 99% chance that they are gonna leak the moment you put the gear oil in. So keep it in mind.

Please be specific about the shops. Where? Any idea about cost?

I think a digital caliper can also be used, and that too without the special tools.
Same caliper can be used to measure the crushed fused wire thickness used to measure clearance between star gears of differential.

The Carb here is different from the one in khyber. But the supporting systems are same. Ignore the EGR system. Its not installed in khyber by default.
