"Sell it for Me" ? or Scam of Rs. 7000?

I'm very disappointed with PakWheels’ "Sell it for Me" service.

I have serious doubts that Mr. Suneel Munj has ever looked into PakWheels' such services or even after-sale services -- utterly disappointed. I guess the owner is busy making YouTube videos only!

I acquired their paid service (of Rs. 7000) of “Sell it for Me”. Their team efficiently created a WhatsApp group and promptly told me that they had published my car’s ad on their website (which anybody could do it for free). AND THAT IS IT. Yes, this is all they have done so far. The information they tell you in the WA group is the same which one could get from PakWheels’ dashboard. So much so that I asked them that “hey, there were two offers showing on the dashboard, why didn’t anyone told me”…. Hahahahaha…

It seems very probable that they are NOT even putting an effort to sell cars. All they are doing is waiting for buyer to come, which I could also do for free. And if a buyer does come along, the PakWheels will get their 1% commission simply by sitting and waiting.

A useless service or may go to the extend saying IT IS A Rs.7000 SCAM!

PW provides services and boost your add so that it (your add) can have max. visitors.

If you will post your add for free without taking any of their premium services, even then your car add will show up in the search list. But it will have less visitors.

As per above post, the market is depressed right now. Only chaska parties making contacts and giving silly offers.

Choosing to sell car through pw services is good decision. But it doesn’t mean that it will be sold in matter of few hours only.

Wait a few days unless you get the real good buyer.

What do you think who has the higher probability of selling a product: the one who has very limited access to the market and has no sale's experience OR the person who has better access to the market and eloquent in sales? Who would you PAY to sell your car?

I know market is very slow (not dead though); I know there are chaska party and investors out there parking their money and investment... in spite of that, a good sales person like PW, should have proactive approach, at least more proactive than me who has access to only TWO showrooms!!

Having all said and even if we do say that there is not even a single buyer of any car... then PW should NOT be bragging their "Sell it for Me" services. They should close it till the market is "alive" again. Until then do NOT misguide customers and stop this scam, don't you think so?

Sir, I know the market is slow and all those things. If this is the case then PW (being so
"professional") should STOP offering this service to people and be honest about it, don't you think so? Not after a customer buys their services and then they say that the market is dead... come on! When one gives examples of ethics and professionalism then these must be applied on self too - that's the real test of a person.

The offer says 45 days, and I'm left with 20-odd days, so I'm being patience with them Don't worry, I'm giving them their 45 days Allah behter keray ga

BTW, I have access to two showrooms through acquaintances, right. After getting experience from PW, I went to them to sell my 2nd car. Al'Humdulilah, I sold my other car through them in 10 days. And yes, they were aware that market was dead.

Giving services like sell for me is part of biz. And many people choose it anyway like you did.

Imagine if in one year 5000 people choose these services and pay 7000 to PW for each. Then let’s do the math.
It will fill their account like 3 crore 50 lakh rupay
And as per banks interest rate if they deposit this money in bank then they can receive profits in millions in one year time span.
So it’s part of the business

If you visit any oil shop who like Makki oil store, filter house, etc. Then you can even see PakWheel detailing products there too. They are now in shampoos, cleaners, polish & waxes, etc.etc.
This is how you expand your biz right ?

This is their "note chapnay ka time", and PW is indeed one of the good stories of successful business expansion, which I have always admired. With this admiration, however, I also prayed that they don't turn out to be greedy and start selling false product to malign their own brand that in turn would get a label of "typical business from Pakistan".

There is no customer support, action on a feedback, or improvement that is visible.

With the concern above, I posted this review or my experience in the hope of PW would look into this matter and fix it before it's too late.

I agree that as they (PW) are growing, they
should equally improve the customer response too which is direly necessary.

Last time when I put up my car for sale on
pakwheels, I received a call within 5 minutes from their office suggesting that
if I would like to feature the add for boost & more views and gave me 3 options
for 1 week, 15 days or for whole 1 month.

I choose 15 days option since my car was
old and it has only few mind set of people who like it and they did it. And yes
it increase the number of views and I receive many calls.

And here is interesting point. Since the
moment my add become Featured Add on pakwheels, I immediately receive the call
from OLX and saying that we can feature your car add for xyz plan for 1 week,
10 days and 1 month etc.

After that another call from cars dot com
or garis dat com also came giving me the same options to feature my add.

You see how closely they are working to
catch the opportunities to earn money?

Yes exactly same happened to me. The minute I got my ad featured on pakwheels, i mean i got the call from OLX within next minute and that too some guy who probably had a dozen crows for breakfast

I have never used that service but my personal experience of trying to buy a car back in 2022 ( the days when market was too hot ) when i was search grande/civic x. I preferred looking into managed by Pakwheels cars because inspection is already done and they are dealing on behalf of seller. 2 cars I actually wanted to see which were less than 10k driven. I called them at different times that i want to see the car. First was a grande and their representative on call said they will arrange the visit and someone will contact you later on phone or whatsapp. No one called back for 2 days. Then i called them again and they said me same. After 4-5 days I called them again and they said seller sold the car already.

Later I found a civic and called them again. Same story again and no one contacted. After 2 weeks the guy called me that I Wanted to see that civic and they have arranged visit. So I said thank you to them. That was very clear how serious they are selling the car. I Was a genuine buyer and if i had the direct number for that civic guy we could have made a deal. But PW's non-seriousness made that seller loose a buyer.

I have had my doubts, and getting first-hand experience from both sides of the table (as a buyer and as a seller), this service DOES NOT look good on PW professionalism and efficiency...

I'd probably go for inspection report only, but now I'd think 3 times before getting their services.

I hope they look into this matter and improve.

I was in the market for a Kia picanto saw one managed by pakwheels ad it was a silver picanto with 9.7 rating beautiful car as per the pictures , the asking on the ad was 29 lac .

I called the number and told the pakwheels guy I want to see the car his response was to make an offer and they will convey it to the owner , quite annoying trying to deal with a middle man when I'm trying to buy a car in one day and I have cash ready, anyways I made an offer of 28.50 and I had to call them myself after 3 hours and they just said owner nai maan raha.

It was almost maghrib by then but I told them I'll see the car tomorrow morning and if its as per pics i'll pay the asking 29 , they said ok they'll arrange a visit , no one called me in the morning , I had to call them around 2pm after multiple calls they picked up and said wel'll get in contact with the owner to arrange a visit, got a call later that the car is sold .

I'm never bothering to call a managed by pakwheels ad ever.

Exactly. They just start asking to make an offer even without seeing it. Same happened for me at time of grande when on very first day they ask to make. I made a decent offer but they said owner will not agree on this. Then i asked them to first get visit arranged so that i can see the car myself also then we can think of increasing the offer.

I have used pakwheels inspection 3 times. Very first time was not a good experience as the car was in pathetic condition mechanically still the car rating came out was 8.5. Engine oil was leaking when we started the car. This was when they started it new and we were not bothered much as it was beginning of a service so things had to be improved.

Although i can make a fair level of judgement about cars ( paint and mechanics ) myself also but still for satisfaction I have used their inspection service twice recently. This time i was satisfied as some things which we cannot get to see under the car they take pictures of those. And also checking with scanner which i cannot do myself.

But at the day end I always recommend people whenever you have to get inspection done, get it in front of your eyes. Someone I know who was a part time car dealer has told me he has bribed the guys many times. If the seller especially the showroom owners have got the inspection done already, I recommend to get it done again. And if you are not good at checking cars, do take someone with you who does the quick inspection too while PW do their job.

Something very similar happened to me right after Eid Ul adha, I was out of town and was looking at a PWs managed add of a 2019 cultus. First they were like sir owner ko xyz amount ki offer ha, ap apni offer bata dain. I told them multiple times that I need to see the car in person first. After 2 or 3 days they called me saying sir ap kal available hein, I said Sure! and never heard from the again. A week afterwards the add was marked as sold.

Exactly same happens with me, gari ki offer aise lagayenagy jaisay choori kay daam, poray month mai 3 offers ayean jis mai say meri final price say 6 lac kum ki offers de. I suggest everyone stay away from this fake service

I, once, tried to book an inspection and they called after days when the car was sold. I was not very serious about buying that car so it didn't matter to me. But now I can recall that experience and compare it with that of others and understand that there is lack in professionalism.
