Can we hire a jeep from babusar top to daramsar/sambaksar lake? Or the last place to find and hire jeep is at Jalkhad?

Naran or Jalkhad is the place to hire jeeps.

Here is the link.

New forced size is 800 width at max which is really annoying as u cannot even share shots from flickr since they are also forced to small size. So, no more panoramas on PW

Click on image and then click on Show all Sizes on right top. The original size is 2185 x 725. If u cannot see this then u have to log into your flickr account.

Mobeen bro first of all I'd congrats you and then clap for you for such a nice tour and with this thread you involved us indeed. Would you believe it took me 11 hours to see/read/feel your thread from page 1 to 109. I gave 2 to 3 hours daily and I never turned off my laptop for 5 days. I really enjoyed a lot and you can't imagine I've much much appreciation for you.

You got an excellent eye over photography and the way you captured all your tour, I got much aggressive to visit all those area but as I don't have my social circle enough to ful fill my this wish I thoroughly read all thread and I must say you set an example how an ideal thread with detailed information could be. I was feeling myself in there believe me and the favorite session was when you started sharing Sat Sar Mala Lakes and you know it was 1 pm mid night and till Fajar I kept enjoying your photos even some pages I read out twice. I got lot of information too. In fact a complete thread.

For my introduction I'm new on this forum from Lahore and I'm also a passionate tourist and traveller (Didn't trek yet ) I almost visited all famous northern area but with my family only but now I want to explore all those areas where a one can't go with family.Unfortunately I don't have enough social circle around me and the ones (friends) around me don't have this passion.

As you said you're planning to arrange a tour and probably you started a new thread on that (I didn't see as since 5 days I was busy with this thread exploring ) will see it after this. Is there any space in your group/plan for guys like us.

I guess your timing is perfect as Travelers' Group just got established on PW and is targeting a mega tour in coming summer Inshallah

They went for their first tour to Soun Valley and u can see that thread and pics in stickies on Road Trips section.

We will be planning the mega trip Inshallah and will announce it in Feb, March 2013 to give enough time to people who are interested to join.

So, keep in touch and stay updated as this will be golden opportunity for those who do not have the friends circle to do such tours

The day is not over yet though. The jeep which stopped with Hassan & party was having fuel injection problems. We continuously kept an eye on them till we took left turn from Lulusar Lake midpoint towards the bridge of the lake.

Their jeep stopped somewhere between Gitidas and Lulusar Lake left turn. We reached Besal and waited for half hour or so but they didn't show up.

So, a rescue team was sent for them in another jeep while the families stayed in a small room of Besal Hotel.

Finally, our jeep and rescue jeep came back and the guys had fuel bottles in front seat and fuel pipe was being switched from one bottle to other to keep the flow running since fuel pump had stopped working.

We reached Naran with same set-up safe & sound Alhamdulillah and the day came to an end.

I had slept only 3 hours in last 78 so far so was dead tired while everyone else also went straight to beds after dinner.

And finally we can end Day 3 now
