I m having car with Tomesetto sequential kit installed M48 pin type. It was giving problem with petrol to cng switching from few months sometimes run on cng sometimes not but now it is totally not running on cng as it is not switching to cng mode.
I took it to CNG guy and he checked pressure sensor and ECm and told me ECM is faulty and need to replace at the price of 5500 INR.(quite expansive). i did not changed the ecm a nd back and checked myself. i found that cng ecm is not giving current to Solenoid Coil, i thn give direct current from battery and it works well.
I want to know something from you guys.
Can i add a Relay for giving current to solenoid? and from where i get the signal current when it switch automatically to cng mode?
As i checked the cng changeover switch and it has 4 pins(red,black,blue,brown) and they all three giving 5 volts all the time. if any of thm were giving current when car switch to cng i could add relay from that point.
Question2: is cng ECM repairable? as other thn this solenoid supply everything works fine, if anyhow we can repair ecm with that supply.
Or We can add a relay between solenoid.
Any suggestion is very useful to me.
