SER_GTR's Nissan B13 GA15DS Swap

I have nissan 1990 with GA15DS engine. I am facing car heating problem. I live in lahore. I went to a mechanic he said probably head gas kit needs to be changed and I got it changed but problem persisted then another mechanic said radiator is old and needs to be changed i got it changed too and guess what problem remains the same . I have spent 15k on this issue and still it is not clear why car is heating up.
The problem is that when i drive car on 2.5 k or more rpm the temp needle start to go up and if i keep on driving it (like on a highway) it reaches to approximate red (without ac) but if i drive it below 2k rpm then temp needle remains at quarter which is ok. Hpwever on AC it always go towards red mark so in this heat i have to drive without AC. I have got the temp gauge checked its ok so it not sensor problem.please help or tell me any good mechanic who can atleast identify the problem

If its not a guage problem, it would be some wiring problem man. If in real engine temperature goes that high, it will show you stars in daylight (just kidding)

When the temperature goes that high, stop the car and open up the hood. Feel as if the temperature is really that high or just the needle is bluffing you.

Check for thermostat valve. It might not have been working or blocked.

Open up the radiator cap (carefully) with a cloth and observe the water inside the radiator. If it is showing bubbles, you have been having problem with radiator or head gaskit still.

Most probably, the guage wire is not connected with the right thermostat valve switch outside on the engine, pet sure. Get it check with a good electrician.

Never Open Radiator Cap When Hot ..Can Cause Serious Injury....!
They Mostly Remove Thermostat On 1st Preference........Do It The Way I Told And It Might Solve Your Problem....!!

@Star2......Yes..Its A Qabli or 2nd Hand Sanden But Refurbished Means Overhauled Before Putting Inn Since Old Seals Might Gave Up...So Checking And Replacing Bearing Along With Seals Is Better Option.....That's Refurbished..
New Sanden As Per I Know Is Made In China As Works Just OK......But Have No Longer Life As Original Sanden......So I Better Consider This Option....!!

It Didn't Use Denso Ones But Sanden Also Puts Load On Engine........But It Easily Drivable With A/C...And Cools Even When Car Idles And On Low Revvs.......!! Like City Drive... Its Piston Type Compressor
Denso Rotary Ones Are Prone To Fail In High Temp + Low Revvs........!! Unless You Have Some Good New Compressor....!!

Yeah you are right. I am also planning on replacing it with the piston one, Sanden. How much it costed you by the way. Here, it is available in around 6k. But, if one has to change it, the gas charging and pipe fitting changes, etc cost 2k plus minus, so it will be around 9k i guess.

Alter Charges depends On How Much Work Is done.....!!! Used Sanden won't Cost 6k....!! Its Around 4k...!!

I went to Bilal Gunj today and they were giving Sanden 507 in 3500 and Bracket in 700.

Now, how to check that comprssor is 100% okay. I want to buy a good compressor, how to check it ?

The Desi Way To Check Is To PuT Fingers On Line Opening On Top And Rotate The Compressor Using Spanner.....It Will Sound Sound ...
Same Like People Check Motor Cycle Engine Compressions....!!!

And its amezing, with this engine with Senden AC I can easily touch 170 on CNG
also it pic is amezing even 1.3 xli/2.0D/1.3 City can not beat this car
the only car can beat this B13 with GA-15DS is 1.8 Corolla Altis.
Also the fule consumption is not bad its 175/(55 liter Cylender) with AC (if you drive below 80)
But if you drive it over 120 or so definately GA series is a goint in sinking fule

Well I preferred GA15DS over GA16 because GA16 is an EFI & There is no well known Nan who wires this well for you!
However I an having not good experience with petrol on this engine nowadays
Its giving me 8-10 km/litter
Is there someone who is getting more then this? On GA15 carbi

Sir g there is a guy named Mushtaq in Sultan ka Khoo (Sadar, Pindi), you can go straight away to him and he will do the job for you easy peasy, don't worry.

Second option, you can come to lahore, be my guest, and I will get this done in 1-1.5 days in lahore for you, excellent work will be guaranteed.

Wiring is not the issues relating to GA15DE.

It is the fuel pump if you are planning to swap it in B13. The electrical one do not work well, which they usually provide it with. The proper remedy for that is that you have to install B14 petrol tank, which has in-built fuel pump and fuel guage, otherwise, the fuel pump installed outside will vapor-lock itself and give you problem in starting. All I am talking about is GA15DE.

Regarding power, it is great. I can easily touch 150 km/hr on GAS with AC, yes, with AC and mind you my AC is also the Denso one what comes original with it and takes a lot of load.

So, you can guess other things yourself.

If you are so fond of GA15DS, a half cut is now a days available in Bilal Gunj of B13, it would cost you around 1,25,000/-.

Options are open bro...Decide where you want to go and I'll guide you.

Look for Nissan B13 and B14 sentra/sunny repair Manual Online..

You Will find it there. it was long ago. i don't exactly remember where is it now
