DOC....The A/c Is Working Like Chiller....damn.....Amazing.....!! I Am Very Happy With Swap MASHALLAH and Its Performance...Low End Is Just EPIC Even after 48mm Piping...!! Overall The Car Is Running More Better Than I Expected....still On So Many Things Unchecked Yet....

Farukh Bhai I need you suggestion!
I have Nissan B13, it is a Nawaz Shreef Scheme Taxi orignally Contained CD17, which i replaced with GA15DS five years back
It is the same Engine which you mentioned now.
Now the problem is that the Engine is Reducing Too much Engine Oil aproxmately it reduces 1 leter Engine Oil in every 500 KM
I am planning to Swap it with GA15DE (which is EFI verssion)
some ppl on Internet say that GA15DE is not a good option
What is your openion?
Should i swap the GA15DS or GA15DE
Or I should go for Engine Overhaul.

GA15DE And DS Only Have Carb And Mani diff......i would suggest if you use it on CNG...and don't want wiring hassle...replace the block simply.......!! rest goes same...!

and what about engine overhaul, shouldn't i go for that.
my machanic say taht if i perform an engine overhaul than it may run further 125000 km for me it is 5 to 6 years
and if i goto shuba or bilal ganj or mithu khan rawalpindi from their i can get gam5ds in round about 25k with my old engine but that would have no gurentee to run even 10000 km and i drive my car 10000 km in 6 month so in 6 months i would be banging my head in the same problem.
so my question is, Do you thnk that an overhauled engine will surelly be drived till 125000 km.

Keep this thing out of your mind that the new kabli engine will not run...it will run forever if you know about it.

Second thing, GA15DE is better than DS. There is not such a wiring mess and CNG use to give 170-180 on highways and 120 in city for sure in city and i am talking about Lahore cng, which is the cheapest in quality among all the country.

Thirdly, I advice you to check your engine properly why it is reducing oil, there are many reasons for it, if it comes up that you have change the head, then you should go for a complete swap with GA15DE, which is 105 hp engine.

I also own a B13 and just swapped GA15DE four months back and quite satisfied with it, maybe it has crossed the 10,000 km figure without any problem.

yes i know that its better then DS becous DE is an Efi and has a bit more power,
But the problem is that you have to find some one who could very well Wire it Up for you.
there are very less Efi specialists in Rawalpindi marcket, also the Efi of Nissan is very dificult to wire unlike Corolla, Honda etc.
thats why i am hasitating for swaping it with GA15DE,
but if you have used GA15DS and now you are using GA15DE and you realy know the difference of power is huge then i can go for it.
as for as i know GA15DS is 95 HP and GA15DE is 105 HP the difference is only 10 HP
