Serios brake problem issue...Feedback req fellows

Well it seems odd to post topic related to CULTUS among enthusiasts of Honda Toyota Mitsubishi etc etc not knowing whether smbody wld rise saying get a lyf nd buy smthing gud,,,

THE PROBLEM!!!!
Cultus's brake pose some serious problem when it gets heeated up under frequent accel-brake use in traffic jam....Especially with 4-5 passengers.....I have replaced the disc pads. Brake enhanced but brake sound appered.. Again replaced....Brake squezing gone...took with the grip too.......

Now i am planning to go for JDM cultus brake assempbly replacement. Iv heard it has ventilated disc with a bigger calliper in front.....not sure whether Dics or drums in the rear.....

Other option is to replace the Brake Servo along with the master cylinder with either JDM Cultus's or with marghala's.

Any suggestion guys....what to do first????Has any body done it before???

Hate to say its a MOD coz its specifically a preventive measure to avoid any brake failure/loose brake accident in future during everyday commuting.

have u tried chaining ur drums ? ... of the brakes rather then discs pads ?

i know the Cultus brake disc/pads are awefully expensive but you will have to first try genuine discs and pads.
suzuki non genuine parts are to pathetic and short lived

Nope i havent,,,,I just re alligned my front discs using lathe machine(u know when they deshape and u feel vibration when u brake at 100. so they require a little bit of machining)

Also regular brake service of rear drums before going on highways

But no use......still caught up with that Loose brake lyk when the pads were factory installed...

Nd 1 thing more.....checked with the mechanic......no air bubbles in the brake lines either......

u may be right bro.....but i guess my cultus came with Genuine Discs nd Pads,,,,,,,that originally was pathetic...

However i might add that the pads i installed afterwards were not genuine....they were local 1's (price was not an issue,,,,,local 1's had warranty....plus the word was out that genuine 1's become hard and that i have experienced)

look guys....i am not trying to empty my pockets just for the sake of tasting Japenese quality......but i do need a replacement.........

is this ure 2nd brake pad set?

if it is then please try to genuine ones again, word of mouth in parts dealers accounts for nothing as they dont know what they are talking about..
just because of their word of mouth u will ruin your cars quite quite expensive discs.

if it is not your 2nd set then probrably there is something wrong in your brake assembly. get a reliable mechanic with you and do some hard braking to try to analyze what is the problem. maybe your brake line is clogged or maybe your master valve isnt proportioning properly. check all options before making an expensive upgrade to the jdm brake kit.

bro cultus have deez kinda problems with brake
recently i faced this issue but the difference was it didnt gimme ne sound in de drums or brake shoes.i was actually running it on a higway of around 100 speed n i tried to brake bt it didnt work as it was working before.
as u kno cultus has survey brakes,u need to get dem service afta every 5k kms.i just did it n it worked bro..n advise for u
always use genuine cultus parts,dont go for a quality n desi ones.

So that means i have to switch back again to Jenuine Pads????

I had a khyber before nd there is hell of a difference b/w the brakes.........

Any one from Lahore know a gud mechanic in this regard......rather tell me is there any use to go to Authorized Suzuki workshops?????

Okay Guyz......# months back i switched to genuine Cultus Brake Pads and Brake Shoes.......

The brake was a bit better but yet not reliable in emergency....

I realized that the brake responds good at start but it does not jam the wheels and the paddle feels excessivly hard at that point....

I had a hinch of swapping the Master Cylinder Rubber Seals...... So 3 days back, I got them swapped with the genuine ones.... One of the seals appeared a bit weared out (or may be it was just my imagination)....

But the problem still prevails. Worse.....the brakes now dont even jam the wheels even on a carpeted road......Its like a natural ABS.......

I am truely screwed up rite now........I think i have to swap the Brake Booster, Master Cylinder and the pressure distributer to pin point the exact nature of fault.....But that would cost me a fortune.....ANy suggestions, where to start from...........

If the paddle hardening (close to wheel lockup) is resolved, i then plan to switch to JDM cultus DISKs and Callipers....They are ventilated and use Baleno's disk pads.....

you havn't been able to get a good mechanic for cultus to fix its brakes in lahore:S

@toofast.......Not completely.....But changed the one in the reservoier with Sienken.......Its the best........Guard is after that in quality

@Yasir.......To be honest......i never really searched for one.....I have good engine machenic but he doesnt seem to figure out the problem as such.......

Everyone here in lahore wants you to drain you pockets first and then they exhaust you with little work and more stories

Try to change the complete brake oil with good bleeding. My friend's car had a similar problem and bleeding fixed it.

Which Year Cultus It Was...

If Pedal Feels Hard Still After Bleeding....Master Cyl Or Booster Is Faulty....!!

Anything Is Possible With Suzuki Cars....!! So Many Strange Issues Like That Appears....!!

Changing Whole Hub With Bigger Discs And Caliper From JDM Cultus Or Esteem Can Also Improves Braking...!!

@toofast.....you sure??? Coz paddle hardenning has less to do with brake fluid esp when new master cyl seals hav been installed.... Or i might be wrong....

Is there any way to check them.......Coz i have tested general tips to check Booster....Like Turn ignition off and repeated press to see if paddle gets harder and harder...(normally vaccum from booster dies out and this shows that it was producing assistance in operation)

After the paddle is hard, turn on ignition to see if it goes lower...it does........concluding vaccume is building up..........These general tests dont seem to go against booster.........

Well you know a lot of things can be done but targetting the fault and then acting over it would reduce the overall cost,,,,,,,,,Spending 20K on brake setup would surely give me a sound brake but would empty my pocket....
