Serious question: How come people in Pak dont park their cars in parking lot properly

Liberty market has gotten better, but there are so many places where the govt has painted parking lots to make the whole thing more organized but it seems like people are not interested in parking their cars on the spot, I have seen so many cars not parked properly and taking space from other parking spot. How do we solve this problem? Whats so hard in parking properly? I am not proper parking spots, whats so difficult in parking your car on those spots properly? People also have a mentality of being a royal so some of them do that on purpose. What do you guys think? How can we prevent this?

Can't be prevented. It's the way we Pakistanis are. Never organized or following any rules. The same problem is faced in many African countries.

If you regress the reason why this happens in some countries and doesn't happen in some other countries, I guess the common factor would be Literacy rate. Aparently, countries with low literacy rates pay little or no respect to moral standards or ethics.

It also has to do something with the genes. The nationalities/cults within Pakistan (Punjabis, Pushtoon, Sindhi and Balochis) are not the most obedient, subservient people that you can find. Need a strict 'danda' to do what is morally correct and a justice system where there are no exceptions for anyone, no matter how powerful that person is.

Since this can't happen in Pakistan, so I'm afraid there's no solution to the problem you mentioned.

There are no consequences to parking badly so why would anyone care?

Where i live the laws are so strict and the fine so heavy people automatically follow the rules. The few Pakistanis we have in Switzerland included. Back home everyone wants to park right in front of the place they are going to since walking even a few extra meters is like a sin.

To be honest, take the rules away and ANYONE would park and drive badly.

I pick and drop my kids to school; and there is so much insanity at these timings...especially Firdays. Everyone is trying to park closer to school and in this they often dont realize that it will take longest later. I always prefer to park a bit far...a small walk, but you get out of the mess first!

If there is a parking where parking spots are correctly marked then it takes one A$$ TO ruin it for every one. so if one car is parked wrong every car is parked wrong.

what can i say if the literates are acting in such manner.. i live next to a darbar, and beleive you guyz me when i say i know what consequences can wrong parkings bring.. its the overall attitude, literacy has no impact trust me.. and then getting licenses without tests means no road sense being pushed in their peanut sized brains.. i could go on and on and on and on.. and once again i would like to curse 99.9% of bikers of pakistan.. may you all burn in hell..

it can b removed by
1. giving education by police
2.giving tickets to those parking like idiots
3. if tickets gets increased by a specific number, should be fined.
4. and there should a police wala on places where parking is really problem like raja bazar

Lol at your attitude bro, you just said yourself that now you'd take up a parking space for two and commenting on others that they belong to the same category.. yeah you know what i do.. i dont give a tiny rat's a$$.. and i am so much worse.. coz any chance i get i'd run em over.. my bumpers are scratched off just coz i like bumping them off the road.. once again, no decency for bikers... they may all burn in hell......................................................................
