Serpentine belt Corollas

My serpentine belt broke while being driven by my driver today. The driver drove the car for around 10KMs after the belt collapsed.
The AC stopped working, the car heated up and is now parked.
Where can I get a new serpentine belt? Should I go to Toyota or for another branded one? Should I check anything else as the car was driven even after it broke.
Car in question is Corolla 2012 Altis 1.6 1ZR-FE

Its a local made car, its belt is easily available almost anywhere by name.

And fire your driver immediately he drove 10kms with a snapped belt and cooked the engine till it stopped.

Most probably needs a cylinder head repair job now.

Here's the thing, the AC compressor is swapped with an after market one with some alteration. The belt that came off is not in the condition to be measured properly. How do I get the dimensions?

Then use a tailors tape (inchitape) and wrap around the pulleys as they go, remove some for the belt adjuster.

When i was in Pk, i used to make a small laminated card with spark plug and belt length dimensions and zip tie it in the deckie/boot for the owners to buy the right part at first try. (I had to tell the owners what it was so their enthusiastic drivers did not throw it away)

It you cannot measure then tow the car to a shop and let them deal with it. Or ask the ac shop you had it “altered” from.

The first thing you should change is your driver.

any decent brand, mitsuboshi, bando, pirelli, continental - all would work as long as they are real genuine items.

bigger question, why did your belt fail? was it oiled?

for some time we were hearing the squeaky noise it makes on start. a mechanic recommended a month ago to change it but he didn't have the belt back then. I forgot about it and it finally broke
