RON92 has more MMT to bring it from RON87 to RON92. AFAIK, Hi-Octane pricing is deregulated and it is mostly imported from abroad where regulations are more strict so ideally, very less or no MMT.

One thing is for sure Honda has to either work on a new software upgrade or come up with a different solution to the problem as the problem has not been resolved completely.
It is the most expensive PKDM sedan after 1.5 year of launch.

I got it updated and it works fine, but its not just the only problem I had with 1.5, A/C got screwed in a year and Honda said it will take almost 3 months to get new compressor due to shortage of it so had to get rid of warranty and got it fixed from outside. On the other note Paint Quality is poor you can't get proper detailing due to its low quality coating which this car will require alot, so avoid any of the dark color.

But the good thing about this car, you can't get a better acceleration at this price, the only other option is Vezel.

Hopefully this sums it up.

Well I disagree

I have driven around 1400km after update and it knocked 2-3 times initially but after second refill , it has not knocked till now.

I also had this wtong perceptions like you that its imported and astonished to know that its not.....The imported one is 92 being adultrated.

Info got from a senior respectable Guru person who served National refinery 27 years having a total carrier of 40 yrs plus. Chemical Engineer

AFAIK, local refineries are not capable of producing RON 95/97 so it is imported.

Bought Civic turbo last week and have to say that its interior quality is pathetic. However there are 3 areas in which Civic X totally outstand:
1. Acceleration ( For Turbo only)
2. Exterior styling (When RS spoiler installed, looks better than A4 B9 from rear, and in night )
3. Handling
Motor sound is so so good. Even better than A4 B9 when you floor it, CVT in civic is no good.

In all the other arears Grande is better, Like: Quality, Reliability, Smoothness, after sales service, etc

Now they are waiting for Hyundai and other competitors and it was planned to be resumed in March but now either Sept or first quarter of 2019.

It’s not solved at all.
I know many turbo owners who still complain of knocking plus turbo has high maintenance such as it’s plugs die before 20k kms mark, it’s throttle body gets chocked way to early and it also needs fuel filter cleaning every now and then. These issues have alarmed Honda Atlas and to avoid any further problems they have discontinued it altogether.

No doubt turbo is a treat to drive but it’s not ready for Pakistan and I don’t think it will be coming back.

Whoever said they solved the issue is lying to you. They just masked the symptoms to get rid of customer and media pressure. The underlying problems/issues are still there and will take their toll on the engine and other subsystems. Second/third/fourth owners in couple years are the ones who will suffer from manifestation of degradation of car parts due to those masked symptoms.
