I was previously using 5W-40 in my rolla gli auto 1.6, it was only available at Metro Karachi but 3 weeks back it wasn't available there anymore. So I started my search at all Shell pumps at one pump near Airport I asked the guy about 5w-40 oil he said Shell doesn't produce or market such grade oil in Pakistan I said " Bhaya Kalay sey dabbey mai oil hota hai ferrari bani hote hai dabbay per mey hamesha dalwata hoo" anyways he refused to accept the Shell sells this oil in the market.
Moving forward, I visited the Shell pump near Millennium Mall Gulistan-e-Johar, they had both of these oil available at more or less same price 100 Rupees difference. Performance with 5w-40 was great but I tried this new 5w-30 Ultra-E (E stands for fuel economy) and believe me 5W-30 is great acceleration and fuel consumption improved upto 10% as compared to 5W-40 I am not sure what you all are discussing about temperature issues but car's temp always remain normal overall I am having good experience with this oil.
