Shell near Wapda Town roundabout. Fuel filling frauds

I have experienced twice that Shell pump between wapda town round about and shokat khanum chowk try to cheat you while filling tank.

First occasion:

• Previous reading was of rs 200.
• I got out of my car and asked to fill for rs 1000.
• The filling guy put in the nozzle and said something in very low voice pointing to the petrol tank's cap.
• I asked him what was he saying and he suddenly starting filling without doing 0 meter.
• I protested that you havent done zero meter and the meter is saying like 250 in just 1 second.
• I then said that I wont pay a penny unless full 1000 fuel is put in.
• The guy was behaving like he does not understand anything
• On reaching 1000 he stopped. I then firmly said I wont pay a penny unless you put until 1200.
• He then filled upto 1200 and then I paid. He said machine got tripped so the issue came.

Second occasion:

• I asked the guy to fill in rs 1000 petrol. I always get out of car to get petrol filled.
• He showed me zero meter and started filling.
• In the meanwhile the cashier came and I had rs 5000 note in my hand.
• He started counting rs 4000 to be given to me.
• In the meanwhile he said in a very low voice that you can come here for a change or something I couldnt really understand
• I asked him what he was saying and in the meanwhile the filling guy stopped filling and manually wrote 1000 on the meter
• I caught him red handed witting 1000 manually on the machine
• I said I wont give you a penny because the filling guy has written 1000 amount manually.
• I got inside my car and ppl from the pump gathered around what has happened.
• I said I wont give you anything because of tempering
• They said meter got tripped. I said show me last filled amount.
• He showed me last amount and it was rs 688. He then filled 312 more and then I gave him 1000

So 2 tricks by same pump. Beware of that pump. They will cheat you even if you get out of your car..

The other day I was in lahore went to the same pump asked him to fill up on card and he said we charge 1% extra to which I refused to get any petrol and left, thanks to Allah he saved me and thanks for sharing

they usually write 1000 manually and even you miss seeing them writing 1000 manually, you can still catch them.. JUST REMEMBER: IF THEY WRITE ANY AMOUNT MANUALLY, LITRES SCREEN WILL BE BLANK ONLY AMOUNT WILL BE DISPLAYED ON MACHINE. thats the easy way to catch them as well.

Once I was at Shell Moon Market, I asked the guy to fill Rs 1000. One guy started filling and other came to my side window. I was looking at the meter continuously. The guy near me tried to distract me by asking questions like, screen saaf kar don? note 5000 ka tu nahi etc. I did not bother to reply. The guy stopped at Rs 300 and said done. I kept on looking at the meter and said loudly I asked for 1000. The guy near my window said tujhe 1000 ka kaha tha. The filling guy said I thought 300 ka kaha hai. Then the guy near me again tried to distract me so that they could start from 300 and stop at 700 and charge me 1000. I kept on looking at the meter untill it was fill of 700 ( he reset the meter to zero after 300 then).

When fueling was done, I came out of car and caught the filling guy from collar and pulled him with me to the main road and pointed at the building in Moon Market and said I teach there, just one call and there would be so many guys kicking you that you would be confused that which part to save and which not

I guess these guys are never going to stop their behavior, be it any company (not only shell). We have to be sharp in order to avoid getting ripped off.

best way is to get out of the car and get it filled properly.
unfortunately we as a nation have this habit of cheating and taking pride in that.

Guy on kashmir highway PSO has some hearing issue too. i keep on telling them to fill the fuel slowly since my car has narrow down pipe so petrol comes back and gets wasted. they never listen, every single time they spill some of it and than when i scold them they fill in slowly.

same thing happened on G9 PSO zoom pump (adjacent to kashmir highway).

Is there a good petrol pump in lahore in terms of quality and quantity of petrol in particular? I've tried quite a few but none comes closer to the quality and quantity of F-6 markaz Caltex petrol pump in islamabad. Remember i travel b/w Lhr and Isl every weekend and used a lot of petrol pumps and I'm saying this based on my first hand experience.

Where is PSO near liberty? there is Shell but PSO is gone. Correct me if I'm wrong.
