Shoaib Akhtar to act in Bollywood Film

It is now around 80% sure that Pakistani fast bowler and famous as Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar is going to act in Hindi movie “Main aur meri Himmat”. Director Sanghamitra Chaudhary revealed this today during news interview.

Akhtar said he has watched the two recent Bollywood releases - Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's Saawariya and the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Om Shanti Om .
I have also heard about the movie Chak De India , he said.

Some time back, there were reports that Mahesh Bhatt had offered the title role to Akhtar for his home production Gangster , but things didn’t fall in place at that time and that role was played by Shiney Ahuja .

He is repotedly being paid INR 1 Crore. And today I saw him on a news channel television interview and he said that he was considering settling down in India

sir , i have read in one of the newspapers that shoaib akhtar is asking 8 crores for his role. The director has offered him 1 crore which he has not accepted and now demanding 8 crores.

No sir, 1 crore is quite high when u consider he's gonna be doing his first film.Usually they demand 1crore per film when they have acted in 1 or 2 hit films and 1 crore for his first film is'nt bad, if the movie does well at the box ofive, the mone he would get would just shoot up.

Shoaib Akhter always wanted to be a show man. I top model or an actor probably. The idiot doesn't realize who he himself is. Probable the most fearsome bowler in the history of the game. But, all he is worried about now, is his little stuffed animal and showmanship. So be it.

He's been criticized heavily in the cricketing world and also domestically, don't know what his future is. A couple of days ago, I heard Naseem Ashraf saying "Such attitude will not be tolerated."

Shoaib Akhtar will be out of that movie, cricket's one day match where he gets rid of his bad temper by throwing fast and wide balls tell me, a good movie takes a year to complete, he will have plenty of fights, how long will the director and other crew will take him ?
