So first of all i want to clarify that i don't know much about mechanical parts of cars so pardon my ignorance but i have some naive questions?
- What is the shock foundation called in desi lingo? is it called chimty?
- how would you determine that whether its the foundation that needs changing or the whole shock assembly so that the mechanic doesn't rip me off
- can you recommend me some great resources to study shocks, struts and suspensions and how much they cost?
