Shogran in March(winter)

i m going on a university trip from multan to murree in first week of march 2019
however 5 of us friends want to go to shogran and stay for a night there
i have been there myself once before
but i have never used public transport so i really have no idea about that..
can any of the seniors here..guide me how me and my friends can go to shogran from 1) murree & 2) islamabad
i need to know from where i can get transport and how should i plan the tour...and how much per head money we should have...we are 5 friends..i shall be thankful to anyone who guides me regarding this matter

i know atleast 1 or 2 hotels in shogran are open and jeep can take us there too..i just have no idea how i can reach to kiwai from islamabad or murree

I would suggest spending remaining free time in a nice hotel/ guest house in Nathiagali. There should be snow on the hills and the scenery is great. Shogran is a long drive from Muree (at least 7~8 hours) on public transport. Not really worth the effort. In summer it would be better.

tired of murree and nathiagali to be honest...visited over a dozen times already

have you trekked in galyat?
there are a couple of tracks between murree and nathiagali
try the ones you havent been on

if you have done them then may i suggest to go to (nearer like) muzaffarabad and explore the city?

plan for shogran in the summers..
dont make your time hectic

yes i have tracked to mushkpuri and miranjani both in summer and winters...visited muzaffarabad too...so thiz time want to go to shogran
just cannot understand how and from where to get transport till kiwai

we can hike even if not clear..and some hotels are confirmed open..we just need to know from where we can get to kiwai from either isb or murree

then i guess what you can do (if no one here has done it) to take public transport from murree till abbotabbad/mansehra/balakot then hire jeep/car till kiwai

but as per knowledge by regularly visiting this forum
jeep ka budget one way 3000 to 5000 without diesel tau hoga from balakot to shogran
public transport could be 500 to 1000 per person from murree to balakot
