Shogran Road condition?

i am travelling from Lahore to Shogran on my city 1.3 ivtec manual with wife, here below my program
Leave Lahore @ 4:00am and reach kiwai @ 1-2PM
here if road perfect to shogran then goto shogran and take any hotel (visit siri & paye)
if road condition are not good then take hotel in Kiwai and hire jeep or local transport for siri&paye

Next day going to Naran explore saiful maluk and babsur top, staying night @ naran

Next day Naran to ISL if having time then Visit faisal mosque/ damne koh, left for LHR

plz guide road condition to shogran its ok ?

Babusar top, siri paye and saiful muluk is frozen at this time of the year.
You can go to shogran though and hike upto siri paye in snow for adventure.

Road to shogran is in bad shape last time I visited and I saw no reason to take my car up there when you can get a jeep to siri paye from kiwai with 1000 rupees extra and I wasnt staying in shogran anyways.

Road to Shugran is Kacha Pakka but No potholes.
U can easily drive till Shugran without damaging your car if you are willing to drive most of the time in 1st gear and rarely on 2nd. Do not try to drive in bigger gears as it will damage clutch plates.
While descending, make sure you drive your car throughout in 1st gear with minimal breaks. if necessary u can stop car in midway for 10-15 mins (i did just as a precautionary measure while both ascending and descending)
Kiwai per hotels and jeeps waalo se pata kero ge tou they will always say ka dont take ur car.
Last year went to Shugran in my cultus with low profile tyres and 4 adults + luggage.

Went to Sogran last year, had 2 cars Prius and Civic 05, each with 4 adults and 2 kids.
No problem at all in taking your car to Shogran

Here is a suggestion, If you leave lahore at 4:00 am, you will probably reach abbottabad around 9 am. That time to cross abbottabad is very messy due to traffic congestion. You should leave around 12-1 Am in order to cross abbottabad before or around 7 am. Trust me, you dont want to get stuck in abbottabad traffic after 5-6 hours of drive from lahore.

I went to shogran in dec. You can take any car there but just be careful as road is narrow and climb is steep. I couldn't go to sri paye because it had snowed in and jeeps couldn't go, but people were trekking there. So this time of the year I think you'd be able take a jeep to siri.

Naran is open(I called a hotel few days ago) but babusar top is closed due to snow.

Better call some hotels in shogran and naran before you leave get recent info

I went to shogran few days ago like 3 days back, most of the hotels are open. And the road till siri is open for jeeps however for paya meadows u need to trek. So we went to siri meadows only on jeeps.

Yes, any car can go to shogran

To avoid Abbottabad and Masehra, I go via Muzaffarabad. Exact route is

Murree Expressway>Bhurban>Kohala>Muzaffarabad>Blakot

I prefer to cross abbotabad in early morning. Now that Motorway is running till Havelian, The abbottabad route is good enough except abbottabad mansehra part.

Can I park my car at Kiwai and night stay in Shogran? 2nd updates of motorway of Abbotabad? is it till Havalian or upto Abbotabad?
