Hello dear.
There isn't much to do within Sindh for 3,4 days. You can visit anyplace here in maximum two days.
Islamabad or Galiyat side is not doable in 3,4 days by road. Except, you can leave Karachi by train or by Daewoo etc. Spend 2 days there and return by air. As airfares are cheaper nowadays. But it will also need a budget if you are taking family.
Other available options are ;
1. You can drive up to Bahawalpur (max 11 hours). Noor mahel and couple of other palaces and Lal Sonhara national park are good attractions for families.
Visit Derawar fort if you want. Panjnad is also accessible. This all can easily be done in 4 days.
2nd option ; If family is fond of long drive. Take N.55 from Jamshoro. Drive through Sehwan, Larkana. Cross Sind border ,enter in Punjab. Drive to D.G Khan. Stay there for the night. Leave early morning and enter Balochistan through newly built Fort Monroe pass, which is worth seeing. Spend some time at Forte Monroe. You can easily reach Quetta by evening from there. This route is newly built and a lovely drive. Spend one day in Quetta or Ziarat and back to Karachi through RCD highway.
3rd option is to visit Coastal highway. Leave Karachi in morning. You can either stay at Kund Malir beach or Ormara. There are a number of attraction enroute. Kund Malir beach, Mud volcano, Hingol national park, Nani mandir, Buzi pass and Princess of Hope.
You can add one more place in this plan if you dare for some adventure and you got enough time, Gondrani Cave city near Bela. Which is almost 2 hours drive from zero point of Coastal highway. Its worth watching and an interesting adventure.
Anyways, if you're staying at Kund Malir or Ormara. Leave in morning and reach Gwadar in 3,4 hours. Spend rest of the day at Gwadar. Stay at Gwadar for the night. Drive back to Karachi next day. Its a 3 days trip.
That's all you can do in 3,4 days from Karachi.
Just keep one thing in mind while going anywhere, that weather will become hotter after mid of March.
