Many people have give me a suggestion that used car should be bought from a dealer. So i need second opinion? Please help

Why not?? you can buy a car from any dealer but ONLY if you're good at inspecting .

many people also sell abused cars by saying ghar ki chali hui from their house

one should always inspect cars before buying, no matter from whom he's buying

last year,when i sold my alto and was thinking of gettin a sedan...it visited meny showrooms and resulted out that none of the dealers ever speakes truth here in pakistan. they are extremely unreliable.even the person (mechanic or expert, u take with u) is not reliable. either u should be expert urself or get brand new.instead of getting 1300 used, better get 1000cc brand new.at least there will be peace of mind for u

Who is a dealer in your view? A person who has a car showroom?
Dear brother, there are many people who work, do some other business and buy sell cars also.

How would you identify them?

Instead of focusing on a non issue, divert your attention towards the car. Check it thoroughly and buy irrespective of the thing that who owns it

so? whats the big deal about it? a dealer also has a family and a living to earn.

and pls dont tell me that dealers are full of lies. we as a nation, all are hypocrites. car dealers are not alone.

jis ka jidher zor chal jata hay, wo dil khol k fraud karta hay. like there is no tomorrow.

the point was, instead of spending your energy on the person, focus on your mission i.e. buy a car of your choice

dealer ki b family hoti hai r us ne isi se kmana hota hai pr jitna b commission le, chahe ziada le p sahi bat bta k le. my point is this that mostly, these arn't concern about telling truth, but to sell and to get their commission. agr ap khud expert hein r apne ap pe yaqin hai to its good to go. otherwise(as for as my experience) kisi pe aitbaar krne mein risk hai

i had a hyundai in 07 ... put an ad in newspaper ... one of the buyers came with an owner of similar make ... he pointed out a few things which were there in his car but not mine ... minor things like fuze box cover, etc .... i showed him a list of 11 things that still needed to be done but cannot be judged otherwise like changing plugs, timing belt, etc ... at the end my car didn't sell .... but sometime later it did sell on the price i was asking

my question is can a dealer or seller make a fair deal after telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth ... may be but then time is not on ur side ... those who r dependant on this income do not wait

here is a car for sale
-- 2007 model ... 25k driven (no meter tempering guaranteed ) ... best car in town .... xyz demand
-- same car but now i tell u that its head gaskit was changed as it got heated it up and nothing else is wrong, demand is same xyz

technically in both cases its a new car but in second case u won't pay the right price becuase now u have become suspicious ... so think over it .. why dealers hide facts .... and i'm not a dealer

Jumping to conclusions aint an advisable thing without knowing somebody's scope of work....Calling a car enthusiast dealer is total misjudgement.He is quite justified in saying focus on metal leave everything aside.....At the end of day if you are getting a good vehicle then channel hardly matters.....thats the way my lame knowledge tells me.

House used car u should do ur research if u find a good vehicle then why not.just consumes more time.

there is a big chance you will get scammed by a dealer. mostly they buy abused cars on cheap price, repair them. make them look like new from exterior.

I would say why not,one should have enough knowledge about cars.just dont be blind when checking the car,now a days every purchaser is sharp enough before purchasing anything and if he earns a few amount of money which is hardly 10-20k now in a single car,which is a fair amount if u get a good car of your choice and dealers can bring u a car which is according to ur choice as he has different contacts and will provide u huge variety.
