If you really Got Some Spare/Haram Money to spend then you can do ur Bachelour from UK/USA other wise Do ur Bachelour from Pakistan and then for Masters come to UK or Go to USA.
Bachelour from UK will Cost u atleat £10,000+ per Year for 3 Years that is over Rs 40 Lakhs and Pain on top of it.

bachelors for an international student is crazy expensive! ...depends on your major too.. actuarial sciences are not as expensive as engineering for example but if you are doing masters in that then go for it since you can do RAship/TAship to cover the tuition costs

Bro.. I miss guidedly did B Com here. ... I want to do Bs in Actuarial Science. In Pakistan it is only offered by Karachi University and CBM.. For that I have to leave my job because I have to go uni daily.. + it waste my two years tooo.... and It also will have no worth for getting job abroad but if i do bachelors from abroad atleast I will find a good job in Consulting firms here...

bet me you can't manage there just by part-time jobs, there is a limit for part-time job, __ hours a week, and that too at very low earning $/hr,

Thats true man... I know life is a heaven at your home country you can do any thing you want.... But In pakistan economy is very tight and I want to become some one and want to build my own name.... I know their is 20 hours per week limit and max per will get 8$ but will have to do illegal jobs too to manage... like working over time

Bilaltq & MomimHaq , AmmarFaiz would be the best persons to reply you for USA. In Canada basic pay is 10.xx [ I never worked so don't know exact ] & # of hours allowed are 20. So if you work for like even 80 hours you would make around 850 which would just be able to make your living.

Bro... as far as I know my cousin supporting me for my living expense and I have to manage for college fees... I will max get 8 $ per hour and I have to work over and over time to get enough money...

My honest opinion would be to avoid it. The problem is if you require to work to pay off your educational expenses then you won't have time to give your best effort to studies.

Furthermore since you will be an International students, employment opportunities are extremely limited and even if you manage to get a job, it won't pay good at all. Also you will have to pay ridiculously high fees.

You already have a stable job, don't jeopardize it.

Even though I am a legal resident here, the college cost is still very high for me. I will have to take a student loan as I know I won't be able to study effectively while doing a job(a job to cover educational expenses). Sure it's a loan, but I will have a far better chance of paying it off if I give it my all in education.

Bro.. I know it will be very tough.... and white collar jobs are not easily available tooo... can you tell me If I do bachelors their I have to go daily university or not? Sir, with all due respect, I agree with what you've said, but it's quite shameful, the way you've said it... First of all, he has mentioned his family can afford one year expenses only so there is no question regarding "Haram" money. Secondly, it doesn't mean that you've haram money if you do bachelor's from abroad...

No doubt it is a golden opportunity if you get a chance to study in a good institution and unfortunately in our case those institutions are abroad. As far as jobs are concerned, there is very little possibility that one can find a "White Collar" job, specially during Bachelor's. Even if you get one, you'll be restricted to a fixed number of working hours. You might be able to make money for your daily expenses, i.e. food, transportation etc. but paying the dues wouldn't be possible.

As far as Masters is concerned, it is equally expensive. I would recommend you to keep on working where you are and try to find an alternative solution in Pakistan. If you plan to do Masters, don't look towards countries like Australia, USA and UK. You don't have to go that far in search of good education. Go somewhere in Asia like Hong Kong! I am currently doing my Masters degree in Telecommunications and the university's current ranking is 20th in the world for engineering, 6th in the world for business management and 1st in the world for EMBA and the expenses are 1/3rd compared to the universities that I mentioned earlier.

Most of the students in Pakistan don't even know that they can get quality education in much affordable rates than UK, USA and Australia.

Yaar I want to do bachelors again because two year degree have no worth abroad and also I am not getting admission at any university abroad in my preferred degree i.e Actuarial Science..... for that I have to do bachelors Again.... By the way I am currently doing Actuarial Science online degree from Chicago form Society of Actuaries but it will take 7 years to complete the degree and I recently passed 1st year..... 6 years more.....

Bro ... .every one is recommending for masters but can any one tell me ho I willl get admission in masters as I hold only 2 years degree in far irrelevant degreee (in Commerce) ? If I do bachelors again here than is it will be worth full in finding job abroad and do masters tooo as employers don't sponser Pakistanis for H1B visa form their home town?? as according to many companies and recruters abroad to which I talked they all said that they can't sponser me but If I came their on my own and apply for job and give interview their than they can think for it......

The reason behind that I want to get higher education abroad is that here I am not getting the job any where else where I want & neither in abroad... If I studied abroad than I can apply for Graduate recruitment program which is held every year by many companies around the world..... I think by taking education abroad it will make some worth of me.... What u think???(A)

My Uni Senior got hired directly into one of the biggest telecommunication company in the world based in US directly from Pakistan. Couple of others got accepted for Scholar ships in which worldwide competition was held. So this is a very wrong perception Though you need extra skills for that but going out for bachelors and earning and doing studies isnot simply possible. I did taught in my Previous semester but this semester I am just studying. Else you will end up loosing your basic purpose which is study.

I talked with my father regarding your case. He said that you are not a Acturial Qualified because you have not passed the complete exams. Your current job is on the basis of graduation and you are qualified even if you dont have an actuarial background.
Its a great field and utilized in Life Insurance. Qualified people are paid very well. Insurance Premium calculation is done on basis of data available and forecasted. If you pass all exams a bright career is waiting for you. You are lucky to be in Karachi where all the big companies are. So Suggestion was to carry on the career and become a Acturial Qualfiied .

My verdict, if you can give the exams from Pakistan too their is absolutely no need of coming abroad

some imp news for you.

from 20th april onwards

1)ielts will become necessary.
2)ielts b2 is needed (band 6 and above) altho some colleges. can also give u admission on a lower band.

from july onwards

1)going anything below Level 7 (MBA, MPHIL , PHD) you will not b able to work unless you are in a university or a publicly funded college.
2)dependents will not be allowed to travel with you unless you are above level 7 or level 7.
3)only the bank statement of certain "mentioned" banks will be authorized
4)psw (post study work visa) will b closed. which means you wil get only 4 months to find a decent job which can sponsor you for tier 2 visa cat.

therefore my friend, whatever you are trying to do, hurry up because after july, it will b useless going to UK for atleast below postgrad. level

as for going out to study, its always a chance. my sister did her bds from states and now currently makes about 500$ a day.Pakistan can never give you the opportunity to earn so much ever from a white collar job.
but then i have a friend who did his BA and MA from states and now is here in Pakistan. And the pay he is getting is equal to the people who locally did their masters :).

BOTTOM LINE:
when you go out to study, try not to come back. make your money (you will make it pretty fast) and then return if you want. but if you plan to study and come back, then i think better not go and waste all your money.

Thanks for your reply.... I know I am not a Qualified Actuary, I am an Actuarial Student... I don't know about what is the basis of my job but I thinks its my actuarial paper not graduation, because at that time I only had Actuarial Exams not Bachelors...any way I know if I become qualified Actuary, my future become bright..... I will pursue my career as a Actuary but I am thinking to do BS in Actuarial Science from US and than claim for exemption... In that way I will become Qualified Actuary easily..... Its not easy to become Qualified Actuary here in karachi because

Paper fees too high every paper is increased by almost 100 $ from previous paper..... i.e 3 rd paper fees is 220$ and 4 th paper fees is 300$ and so on......

Lack of resources and people how can help......

First 6 papers only occurs at 6 months intervals and rest 7 papers only occur once in a year:'( and mos t of them not administrated here in pakistan.... I have to go abroad for that exam......

and much more.....

Thats why i thought of graduating from abroad and get exemption.. Hope u got my point.....
