I hv hired two Graduates from PU (They hv done M.Sc AS) both were not interested to go to Karachi so working with us in Lahore & Gujranwala branch But for us they are over qualified for the post they are working for. At the same time University is producing more than 50 Graduates per year with no jobs in Pakistani mkt for them (H)

Hi every one...

I want to know Is it a right decision to go abroad for further studies like Bachelors or not..... I am currently on a job at a good company and they are paying me enough.... I just want to go abroad for earning more money ...... For that I was thinking If I do bachelors from ATLANTA in Actuarial Science and than apply for job abroad than my CV will be strong too...... My family can only support me for One year... after that I have to manage myself......

I want to know should I go abroad for further studies or stay with the job and do MBA from here... (I already did B Com)

I will agree with other usa members. Avoid coming here, Things aren't the way they were before.Did you mean Atlant,GA? Living is cheap here compare to other states. Georgia State University has a good reputation. Here University allow 20-25 hours per week while classes are in session. so yea thats not gonna work for you. you will have to find a job where you can get paid under the table. In georgia pay rates are from $6.50-$10 per hour depending on the area ($10 if you are close to atlanta). on student visa you will get $8.50 or $9 per hr ($9.50 if you get lucky) Lets do some math here. If you get $9 per hr and work 6 days a week so $540 for week. $2160 for month and $25920 per year. Remember you will spend money on gas/food too. ok that was a story of georgia. as for Chicago,university of chicago is ofcourse best Uni over there. Living is not cheap in chicago compare to georgia but there is big desi community specialy in shamburg,il area. I think pay rate is high too. but weather is cold in chicago. snow snow and snow lol. well here you go. if you need more help then let me know. Good Luck.

dooor kay dhol suhanay.u situation is same like me when i was going australia got visa payed the fee but at the righttime i canceled to go melbourne just not to waste my fathers money and reason was only not enough time to get part time job.now i feel my desicen was good and its is better to get bachelor from pakistan dont lose u job.i was also doing job i will suggest u go to lums much much better than usa.mein nay aaj tak apni zindagi mein aisay kisi pakistani ko nahi dehka jo sari umer america england mein laga kar kcuhh hasil kiya hoo.we alag baat hai kisi kay paraent sallo say in mulkoo mein hoon to theak hai lakin aaj kal zero say start karana bahout muskil hai.becaharay american kud gharab ho chukay hain.this is my suggestion to you rest its all upto u best of luck and happy life.

Yes sir. when the boss is desi and you don't have green card/citizenship, thats what you get but as i said it depend on area, so if you are away from metro area then your pay is less.
