Should I buy a Liana?

Hi Guys,

I have budget of around 700K and have the opportunity to purchase a good condition Liana 2005 from a relative. I am looking for a comfortable, reliable, economical and trouble free car. Not really bothered about the performance of the car (speed and all).

Please let me know if I should buy it..
What are the pros and cons?
How is the mileage?
Is it a car suited for long drives?
What about the maintenance cost and cost of spare parts?
Does Liana require frequent visits to workshop etc.

Your advice will be appreciated.

dont buy Liana. Its very expensive spare parts. and very expensive mentainence as campare to other 1300 cc cars.

Brother i do not agree with yousaf 786 and lotus.
I have liana 2006 model i am ist owner running on petrol. I have done 75,000 km without any trouble and spend a singlr peny on maintance beside oil+ filter cahnge. I almost drive 3500 km per month 3- 4 btrip to murree in every summer. I found this car a very reliable and much better than honda city. Petrol avg is 11.5 km with a.c. Excellent abs brakes , suspension was far far better than xli.

if the car is on petrol and u will also drive it on petrol than u can buy it.

And one thing more its parts r very expensive than other Cars check the market

i suggest u buy city.

Dear Umair,

Liana is not worth your Rs.7lakh, better to go for a 2000 City or Civic. They are more comfortable and reliable, even on long trips. Yes they are little more expensive to maintain, but still better than Liana. And if you take care of a Honda, it will take care of you as well. Also you will have better resale value with Honda, Suzuki's are simply not worth the time or money.

go for it man! liana is a good car and more adv car in term of tecnlgy. . . .

our road side mechnx cannt understnd it!so they says its not a good car.

it is more cmfrtble thn any prev gen corolla!

very low mileage liana wont bother much as i said(for sometime).

and it will be really hard to find a baleno driven less then 100,000 km's otherwise its a good car

i suggest u to dont go fr liana .........buy any other car like city,corolla,........or increase ur budget n buy 03 civic ....these cars are much better than liana(daba)........i think 03 civic is the best choice .........

if you have budget of 700k then you can buy 2003-04 vitz
