Should i buy aqua(2014,2015)or stick to vitz 2012

I am considering buying an aqua(S or G) preferably (2014-2015) model. I have Vitz 2012(F)in excellent condition but is it worth upgrading to aqua except getting better mileage what other benefits is in buying aqua? What about ground clearance and maintenance and availability of parts as compared to Vitz. Jazakallah

My friend recently purchased 2014 Aqua S 4 grade in 1.75 million.

Meter was showing 17 kmpl

Dear all can you please tell about its general maintenance and availability of parts. How easy or difficult is the maintenance, cleaning of fan and most importantly how to check the condition of a hybrid battery. Jazakallah.

Air filter and normal maintenance can be done by any roadside mechanic... The big problem is with the battery and digital parts.... The hybrid battery is really expensive and has to be imported and needs a good mechanic to fix....btw aqua is a much better car than vitz in every aspect...it is too bad that it is being discontinued for a hybrid toyota vitz costing around 20 lacs...

Thanks. Does the battery cost over 1 lac ? And is the rear leg room and head room less roomy then Vitz(considering three 5"10 adults) ? And are the seats comfy especially the driving seat? I think they are Bucket type seats like in Vitz, kindly do tell about that...Yeah new vitz shape (hybrid) is definitely a mix of aqua(from the front) and lexus cth200(from the back). Time will tell about the sales for it especially considering the instability nowadays.

i dont know much about battery pricing but i heard it is expensive.....rear space is a bit congested but i think 3 adults can sit....can you explain how instability nowadays can impact toyota vitz sales....

Due to rules and regulations imposed by the government(regarding the import) the current car market is not thriving at all. Even the locally assembled cars are not selling as much. This is what i meant by the instability here ! I might be wrong !

no....locally assembled cars are selling a lot just because of the tax that government has imposed on imports....just see sales figures for last year and you will see that suzuki and honda have really gained last year after introduction of the taxes on imports...
