I have decided to buy Kia Picanto Automatic variant, need your expert opinion as it will be my first car. Is it worth buying Kia Picanto or look for another hatchback?

Picanto is no doubt very reliable and very fine quality car in its segment. Go for it if you specifically want a hatchback.
