Should i buy mark x?

hello everyone i have been thinking to buy a markx 250g or 300g in karachi, i currently own a aqua 2013 model. the reason for buying mark x is that that i always wanted a rear wheel drive with comfort and performance and i find mark x suitable for that. as its 2020 and the car would be quite old kindly suggest me that i should go for it or not? and if yes how to check the car? and which one to go for 300g or 250g? i have been thinking about it for months but its difficult to decide. kindly help

Brother its handling is quite problematic (may be, there is some inherent fault in it or otherwise, but isski drive mein kuj na kuj masla hai). You may have to first learn its driving, being some "exceptional" RWD car.

@Xulfiqar Sb., in one of his posts, has mentioned that even an old model of Mercedes (I am forgetting its exact series) drives thousand times better than Mark X.

Please keep this driving factor in mind, before buying any Mark X, Rest, your money, your choice!

Japanese would have not made it at first if it had any 'problem' . Its has different weight distribution (front/rear) along with quite responsive engine coupled with RWD setup .On turns you need to be little careful once you get used to its fun .Even you can install LSD for better traction . in Pakistan 90% of Mark-X are over fake documentation of Amensty. vehicles are released by customs of 1 province, registered in other province and available for sale in 3rd province.

unless the documentation is in order, engine no frame number is as per documents, customs bill of entry (GD) is verifiable Mark-X shall be avoided. It is a Custom Hawk Magnet

how would i check its proper documentation and all brother?
and even if i find one would it be good option to buy a 15years old car?

NCP cars wont have GD, B/L & Export Certificates.

Chances of finding a good car 1:50 or lesser.

Maintenance isnt cheap it has a chronic steering sensor problem repaires used to cost up to 80K, i had one in 2007.

IF YOU MANAGE to find a good car, its a nice car to have. Everyone has a right to their own opinion.

A good Markx costs 25 to 27 lacks in Karachi. Not sure about up country. Everything else is scrap. Been seeing some for a friend.

Either get a cheap car to get it fully repaired. Or get a excellent one. Else it's going to be a money pit. Such a car in shitty condition is a very bad sight.

Well saying that 90% of the mark x available in pakistan are of fake documentation is totally wrong.
There are many non custom mark x here on the roads but they are easily catchable as they wouldnt have original B/L and Gd and most probably wouldnt even have original number plates from the excise department. You just need to verify the chasis and engine number carefully and you are good to buy that car.
If you talk about non custom cars there would be alot more non custom, fake documented and body changed prados and cruisers here On our roads.
So one should not be scared of buying a particular car coz it could be non custom. If you cant properly verify the documents of any car you shouldnt be buying any imported used car. Coz any imported used car can be non custom.
Just stay away from any car in which you have any kind of doubt in its documentation.
Regarding custom auction and amesty scheme cars they are road legal if with proper documents and NOCs but one should be keep in mind that are difficult to resale.

I have inspected this car. To me the front right is repaired. And even the front left fender is repaired.

Right fender shield is missing, right headlight bulb doesn't works. Bumper grill right side is missing

If you ask me maybe the entire right side is sprayed. I might be wrong. Better take your denter painter with you. The kids showing the car claim it to be 100% original. They probably dont know. And the car belongs to there uncle.

All agreed, amnesty scheme cars are pain when you want to get them transferred. Sometimes it's not happening. Counters closed, several other issues. The market worth of such cars is less

Its a nice car. A friend bought one 300g premium for 18 laakh in custom auction. You can get lucky if you keep searching. Its a luxury car so its heavy and oversteer isnt an issue if you practice and get familiar. Parts and repairs( proper ones) are a lil expensive but hey thats the price for luxury and performance. Get the auction sheet verified and take an expert with you. Check all te features are working. Good luck

Bro i owned both 250 and 300 premium ! My opinion is dont go for it ! its just not worth it anymore .
