Should I buy Suzuki Car Extended Warranty for new Alto VXR?

Please recommend shoud i buy Suzuki Car Extended warranty For new Alto vxr. Is it worth paying 12k? Car dealer was telling me it will cost me 12k. telling me that it will cover extra 2 years. I am new in this. Please guide me why should I & why should not buy it. Advantages vs Disadvantages of Extended Warranty?

Bro if this is ur first car then buy it 12k is not that much. Advantages of this is that u will drive ur car with peaceful mind but on the other hand its a big hassle to claim warranty in Pakistan this is not a easy process. Disadvantages in my opinion is that u will have to service or maintain ur car for two more years from dealership otherwise ur warranty will be avoided I'm saying this bcz dealerships are so expensive in pakistan in case of car maintenance and servicing they'll not spare u even if u have a entry level hatchback or up market suv they are expensive for all kind of owners

Again if u are new driver then buy it bcz if u are new then you r not that expert in trafic so u need insurance

problem is that insurance only cover 1 year but warranty covers 2 years . What will you recommend from tracker / insurance / extended warranty ?

I'm not an expert but a comprehensive insurance should be the best option. It would cover any damage to your car or theft. A warranty would not cover such an event.

If you are planning on keeping the car for that long go for the extended warranty. I still remember when the cam shaft of our cultus failed on gt road the day before eid. It was just a few months old car. Although it ruined our eid but the repair was covered in warranty and according to Suzuki the cost of repairs was above 1 lac. 12k is worth it, go for it.
Also get your car insured, recommended looking at high part prices.

not a big hassle i had extended warranty on wagon r and one after another it wheel bearings went bad which were replaced under warranty without any hiccups.
for the last one they showed some excuses but one email to paksuzuki got it done.

insurance is the best safety for your vehicle. you just pay 2.25% of value of your car each year. it covers each and every type of accident/theft/snatching/damage/theft of accessories with total peace of mind.

tracker is not recommended since first of all it will play with wiring of your vehicle, secondly, a seasoned thief/snatcher knows very well how to disable it making it useless and the car is gone forever.

extended warranty will simply increase engine warranty for few more thousand KMs, whereas you will not get protection against any other losses which are the most likely to happen like accidents/thefts/snatchings/burglaries. usually Engines do not go bad this early so these payments of extended warranties etc goes useless most of the time.
talking with my experiences with Insurance sector. you can ask further here in case of any clarifications.

Can you suggest any good company ? Do insurance companies really pay in case of theft or make excuses ? or what about the claims. I have heard the rumor that they dont pay well in case of issues ?
