Sialkot-Lahore Motorway M-11can any one confirm what is the status of this project?i would like to hear the updates on this projects.as According to PM it was to be end before 2018.but it has,nt even started since it was inaugurated on 22 August 2016.
Starting of a project of this magnitude doesn't really mean start of construction. So many other things have to be considered such as a number of studies are to be carried out, selection of consultants, design process and selection of a suitable construction contractor, then mobilisation of the construction contractor before actual construction begins. While the project may be in progress, yet you do not see any construction work till now.
i agree but still we don,t see any update anywhere.thats why i thought to post it here.also heard that the project was canceled again.
This will be passing through our lands in skt, so i can tell that construction will be started soon, govt has notified us that not to harvest the land through which it will be passing for nov-april season, also payment for land acquired will be made by the end of this month.

its good...a city like sialkot shud be linked by good motorwys and road network...
It means we can still have hope of this projectas it has already been canceled several times before.
