Hii Pakwheelers ,i am planning to straight pipe my cultus 2016 model LE ,So what are the side effects of this mod .My little knowledge says that power should increase a little bit while engine sound louder.What you guys think about it?
Instead of going for a straight pipe exhaust, try a high quality steel pipe exhaust pipe with same bends.
It will be quieter and will give you more HP.

Noise and you will loss low end straight away. It will be just loud which makes you feel fast.

Yeah i will go for same bends piping but give me a suggestion that "Should i go for a free flow type muffler or just piping ".And kindly suggest a good muffler for sporty sound in suzuki cultus 2016 .Your suggestion is highly appreciated

Why i lose low end?? Technically it should produce little more power as there is less restriction in exhuast flow ,thats what i think and i maybe wrong.Kindly explain what you think about modifying exhuast system ,your suggestion is highly valuable
If its true ,then 6 to 7 hp is quite noticable increase for a engine which produce only 60 bhp on stock
Bro you aint gonna get 6 7 bhp jum0 just by welding in a 2k muffler.
You will loss back pressure. scavenging process helps the coming air pressure form cylinder to pulled out by a vacuum created by the stroke before it. If you don't have enough back pressure you will not have that vacuum. Thus loss in low end. yes you will get high end but that will be useless as you are not going to drive in that rpm range. Still not 6-7hp.
But if i remove restrictions in exhuast flow (whatever expenses are) i definitely get little more power
