Its a real incident.I know that guy personally he works in government office.NADRA can tell how many times one tries to verify thumb impression so they knew he went to different shops despite every shop telling him to go to NADRA to fix the problem.

Telenor has a worst customer service.. franchise pe jao unki to koi kam hota nahi...hamare area mai he 1 km k andar 3 hain..magar kaam ghante ka nhi..sim block karwani hoto kehte han customer centre jaen hyderi ya gulshan.. ...customer centre jao to wahan logon ka machli bazar laga hua hai..number tk nh chalrhe..jiski awaz pehle chali jae uska kaam hogaya pehle..

Ufone k service centre n franchise pe b bht rush mila verify k liye or wese b..sb mix chalraha..jisko verify karwani wo b n dosre kam b..

Zong k customer centre pe sabse jaldi hogaya..unhone bahar b bithae howe hain 4,5 bnday or andar b chalraha...

Mobilink ne hyderi wale customer centre pe upper floor pe 10-12 log alagse bithae hain sirf sim verification k liye... rush tha magar banday zayeda hone n sirf sim verification hone ki wajase bht jaldi nimat gae..

or Zong n Mobilink customer centre pe koi charges b nh lye...zong ki franchise se phle Ik or krwai thi..unhone 10 rs liye the

No. Main connection is zong..or kuch friends ki wajase ufone rkhi hui hai..phone he nh karte dosre network pe.ufone pe pkg hota hai to karte hain..baki networks pe family ki sims thi

telenor has the worst rush and service
just to make it more painful they cut down office time to 4p.m
after 4p.m they only entertain thumb print verification only if its your own name

i will port out all telenor numbers of my home once this rush is over

That's the Spirit Hash! I bought Warid sims the day it was Launched and gave it multiple Business through Friends and family but the Moment they behaved unethical, i Ported out :thumbup:.

to my understanding after discussion with service providers any attempt to port out number without biometric verification of with the 'root simm provider ' is subject to IMMEDIATE suspension of service,

Most likely Government - PTA will not announce the extension in date of verification but service suspension will not take place for a while. Instead 'service black out will take place for 'prepaid users' - Individual Post paid service Users with unverified numbers aka error in biometrics will be 1st one to get service black out randomly.

• Most affected users are in KPK & Punjab where the road side stalls, mobile vans, pan ka cabin holders have sold the SIMM while misusing the CNIC of people during bundle package campaigns.

I am in a process of porting out my number from telenor to ufone. Ufone guy advised me to verify my number via biometric which I did. My request was processed by ufone n they gave me a ufone sim also saying that when signals on telenor sim dies insert ufone sim. Telenor rejected my request on plea that there is some issue with my number n asked me to visit their office. I visited thr office n the rep told me there were no issues with my number. I reprocessed my request from Ufone end n now for two days there is no response from donor's end. Ufone said they cant do anything unless donor release the number.
I also emailed PTA but no response.

What should I do to get rid of telenor as it is acting like a thief eating out my hard earned money.

Well. From my experience. Once a MNP request is turned down due to any objection, the new request cant be entertained for a certain period of time. I dont remember exactly but it happened to me as well. And I had to wait 30 days I think after which I requested again and it was successful. Not sure about the rule now a days though.

Few days back.Took my turn token in telenor isb blue area.was crowded like hell.i drove to murree.showed my kids snow.had a snack.drove back to thr office.n was still 150 turns behind.drove away bk home.cant wait to port out from these idiots

They are very unprofessional and thieves. In Talkshawk A1 they used to deduct balance without any reason and chargine me sms for as high as 3 to 4 rupees so I wanted to shift to Telenor Postpaid smart 2000 plan but when I visited their office there was same situation as you stated and I had to wait till evening. I called the helpline and asked them to shift me online to postpaid but they refused so I decided to port out to Ufone eying the super card thingy. Hereby they are loosing a loyal customer since 2007 and who got them enough business by bringing friends and family members to Telenor.

Anyhow I have emailed them as @capsat suggested , I have CCed PTA and their mgmt and got this reply from telenor CS mgmt.

1- went to warid csc on canal road for my fathers sim to verify; done in less than 4 minutes.

2- went to ufone csc on susan road for my own sim to verify, they have four representatives sitting outside the building with a small finger print device and U5 smartphone; done in less than 2 minutes.

3- went to telenor csc located in famous ground of fsd, it was like machi market with every "maachi (paindu)" and "burgers" waiting in queue bumping, grinding and groping each other. it took me a minute to understand what's going on and where to go, got a number some how and it was 2118 while they were serving 200 something. bhaaR main gai verification.

Off Topic discussion, but telenor is worst of all. They deducted me upto 25 rs for one local sms or call several times, even with packages. When i complained them, their reply was 'system error' and then it was transferred back to my account. This cycle continued, so i closed the telenor sim earlier. Good riddance!.

Plus their blue area office is also very slow. I had to go their multiple times to close my sim, even when there was no rush.
