so went to head office, they said they have now forwarded and it would take at least a week more nothing we can do, meanwhile while talking the person paused and within our conversation issued a new sim like in just 5 min, and then they say it takes a week to shut it off, do the franchise operation have no link to mobilink?
well we were still not convinced complained to CPLC, they sent a team there and the head office and took 3 days time from the police, the police said if within 3 days the sims aren't removed this amounts to cyber crime in law and the person who undertook to shut the sim off will be booked under law and office closed.
guess what within the next day the sim was deactivated and removed form the name of the family member. which kinda confirms that the company had deliberately misused the CNIC and issued the sim in the same locality as stated on the CNIC card which was being misused. especially as the sim was in use by someone who would shut the phone of every second call.
so ultimately the issue was resolved and we also received a recorded call in CM of punjab's voice asking about the response and also a message from 15 team about any complaints in their dealing. alhamudillah satisfied with the response of out authorities:)
