I have been gifted a phone from overseas relative. When I inserted the sim there was message the sim is not registered what could be the reason and also suggest solution to this.
you have to get the sim and phone registered with PTA as per new rules. for this you have to pay the tax value of the phone whihc can be checked thru PTA website.
