Sings of a weak engine

Apology to all Friends if it's repost but It's really confusing and matter of real concern for a car owner when he comes to know that the most powerful part of his dear car is showing signs of getting weaker and that it would cost heavily to repair it. So, what are the signs of a weak engine really?? Here are the signs my Cuore 07 is showing:

1-Engine oil Decrease even after few days of Oil change-weak engine sign
2-Oil in the Air filter though not that much but regular - weak engine sign
3-Water Drops from the exhaust on cold start- Healthy engine sign
4-So far no smoke from the exhaust as looks like- Healhy engine sign
5-The pick & top speed of the car is still excellent- Healthy engine sign
6-The car starts on the first and half self in morning-Healthy engine sign
7- Fuel consumption is still awesome- Healthy engine sign

I'm really confused as to what might be the real status of the engine whether it is getting weak or something else. I want your valuable suggestions. and If the engine is getting weak how to fix it??

You're experiencing a little blow by. Give it sometime and more symptoms will show. It could take months.

thicken the engine oil, if car is running fine no need to open engine, chk oil level and yr good, dnt worry too much

My Car does both but when i start after some days ( 3-4 Days) it gives Blue Smoke , but for 10-20 seconds then steam comes , so it means my engine is health or week ( it has done about 160k+ Km / never over-haul )

Blue smoke at morning startup means you have weak valve seals.

The Steam comes this means nothing.

My Alto 2003, gives White smoke in morning , i know its usually occurs in winter,, but its tooo much
even when ever I start car, gives too much smoke and after that its behaive like a normal car... I recently bought this, when i decide to buy this, my mechanic told me that Engine main kaam hay...
no oil reduction.. I bought this 24-12-2011
and change oil same day... Daily travelling is arround 20-40 km...
yesturday(28-1-2012) I checkedd oil level by mechanic he told me oil level is normal. but if possible, please add 0.25 litre oil in it..

So It is normal Oil reduction ?? OR NOT????

Carburetor service done butturfly repaired... but still same problem.. I check another mechanic ,he told me that engine is perfect..

What could be the reason, car is not giving any smoke, even its emitting a heavy quantity of water too, but its exhaust tip getting black, car is on petrol , bad map sensor? engine is d15z6

^^ if its a bad map sensor then you have the following symtoms.
1- car wont start
2- car would start but would misfire alot and turn off when race is applied

if you are not facing any issue like this then you need to get your car tuned by a wideband sensor,you must be running rich due to:

1- more lph fuel pump then stock
2- more pressure in the fuel system then stock (from fpr)
3- maybe due to car being less advanced.

save some money and get a wideband and safc. and get it tuned from someone,you would experience a much more smoother ride,more power all over the powerband,and better fuel consumption where you need it.

na car start smoothly no problem in starting, but its tip gets black, no black smoke emmited on start up, might be it blew some on high rpms, yep m thinking to tune it up, BTW from where i can find a wideband tuner in lahore?

If breather is throwing too much oil in air filter it can be reason for decrease can be judged by compression tests if u hav any doubts

Tabish, white smoke often means that you are burning antifreeze.Sometimes when the head gasket goes it will produce a passage for the antifreeze to pass from the capillaries into the combustion chamber. It is easy to check if you have an air compressor. Remove one of the rear sparkplugs and the radiator cap. Fill the radiator and then push some air into the sparkplug hole (get a good seal in case a valve is open). Repeat with all the cylinders and watch for air bubbles coming up into the radiator. If bubbles come up or fluid is pumped out, the head gasket is blown and must be replaced. It is more likely to happen at the back of the engine because it is farthest away from the fan and therefore gets less cooling. Also check your oil for discoloration. If it is a brownish color it could mean your oil and antifreeze are mixing and has the potential to damage your bearings.

Race Addicted, please get the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve checked. Replace if clogged.
